mark, thanks for the update on the transits. i

thought

these insights on scorpio were interesting. though, being

a scorpio my self, i've done a lot of research on scorpio

and the 8th house.

Dear Sarah:

I'm so glad to hear from you. How have you been?

I'm especially happy because you can teach us more about some of the subtleties

of Scorpio.

 

it has so many wonderful, distinct and

brilliant aspects to it that aren't negative, judgemental

or vindictive in nature at all.

Verrry good. And

I'm very happy to hear you describe these.

 

All the signs have such important meanings to them.

 

So, you being able to help people understand better the beauty and perfection

of Scorpio will be very important.

 

in fact it is a very deep

and mysterious house and rules the transcendent, the

absolute as well as transformations of all sorts. it is a

house that is universal in nature and broad in spectrum.

those who reside here think in terms of the whole universe

not fragments or isolations of it. this is where idealism

can come in.

I'd agree, and it's

important that we know the positive of each sign as well

as the negative possibilities or consequences.

but for those who overstand MVS, it can also

be called the "gap" as well. it is the house of things

that are hidden from view. the deepest value that is

hidden is the absolute, pure being, the source, chit and

consciousness.

Glad to hear you

describe this. In fact, I'm sure all Signs can be traced to the Absolute!

i am also a double scorpio. and i have the moon

in scorpio

which you and others consider its "most unhappy"

placement. some of what is expressed regarding this

placement has some truth, but most of it is hype.

Now, we've talked about

this before. I still think it's helpful to have a concept of the

negative just in case we find some of that in us.

 

One of the greatest things I've learned from Jyotish is that the negatives

might be

there, or they might "HAVE" been there...

But, I believe you've EVOLVED YOUR MOON IN SCORPIO....to be something positive!

In other words, out of

Scorpio, emotionally. You'll always continue appreciating the

positives of Scropio due to your other Scorpio influences.

i feel

that moon in scorpio is actually a blessing for me. i

thank god and my karma for this chart and the sweetness of

moon in the first house,

I have the same thing

about my Moon in Virgo. For a number of years I felt so bad

about 'it'. Then I started to realize I wasn't using it negatively, and

instead was living

the positive side of Moon in Virgo.

 

Since Virgo is really about Perfection, I realized I am interested in the

perfection of

enlightenment. Now, I realize that's the true purpose of my Moon in

Virgo.

coupled with the kshatria nature

of mars. it is a stellar combo in many circumstances. i'm

actually very tired of reading all these negative

associations regarding my birth chart. it doesn't seem to

fit me and i don't like having it reinforced.

Remember too, no

negative is meant to stay that way. If the so-called "negative"

association helps those stop that mistaken quality then that's still

worthwhile.

Secondly, realize you don't have to be living the negative of Moon/Scorpio any

more

 

So, next time someone asks you about your Moon, you can say when I was born I

HAD Moon in Scorpio, and now it's enlightened

how about more positive mention about scorpios

and our

brilliances?

Yes, I agree....I

mentioned about 10 times the positive side of Scorpio too.

And, that's what we're doing here too is bringing out the subtle good

qualities!

 

which is exactly what I'd hope would come out during this Month of Planets

moving

into and through Scorpio.

we are so wonderful in nature. and have no

more negatives then the rest of the zodiac does.

Yes, I'd agree, but

even you admitted sometimes you still get caught up in that flavor.

 

Just like sometimes I find myself being too Virgoish due to my Moon. It's

helpful for

me to know I'm falling back, and it inspires me to keep transforming.

 

Also, understanding the true, higher value of the Moon helps me continue to

evolve

my own Moon.

though

somehow our reputation has been tarnished over the years.

why play into that??!

I'd agree, sometimes

Astrology does pidgen hole situations sometimes, but our

discussion here is a testament about how really "better" or

"good" Astrology should

be done!

 

i will also say that since moon has been in

scorpio the

last couple of days, i've had two of the best days i've

had in the last 3-4 months.

What I also experienced

was my own experience of Moon/Scorpio was better this

month too. And I think part of the reason was Jupiter moving closer and

closer to

Scorpio.

 

But you too, have obviously moved your own Scorpio from some of hte negative

part

of it, into a more sublime quality.

 

 

pure abundance in heart and

mind and coming from others as well. from all directions!

 

Which is a sign of your enlightenment too, and not

your being bound up by some

negative vibration.

 

there are always other sides to every story.
