(Sun. & Mon. - 6/25th & 26th – in the East) This Newsletter & Transit report Now Coming Out Every 2 Days to coincide with the Change in Moon Signs. New Sections on Astrology, See below. If New To These Reports: Check out Philosophy of Transits, below. Special Section, starting today - How the New Moon Transit may be experienced by all the different 12 Rising Signs. Today’s Transit Report: Next 2 Days: Moon Goes into & through Gemini, during these days! New Moon June 25th There are 3 Main Characteristics of the Transits over the next two days: 1) The Moon’s in the Sign of Gemini! Moon is in the very distinctive Geminish quality of energy over these next few days. You may feel to do too much! You may ‘want’ to juggle 2,3,4 things during these days. But, the Sun & Moon together are incapable to do that during this time, so if you try you may spread yourself waayyyy to thin! Don’t! Rest! Recuperate! 2) The Moon’s Waning!. The Moon is getting especially small now. See, if you can ‘feel’ that inwardness. This ‘quality’ or ‘strength’ of the Moon will have a lot to do with how receptive people are. Also, this inwardness is very symbolic of the inwardness of deep rest. The Waning Moon’s the best time of the month to get caught up with rest & even rejuvenations. 3) The Moon’s a New Moon!. The Moon when it’s becoming completely ‘New’ represents the deepest part of ‘darkness’ upon the Moon. This means not only is the light of the Sun, not getting to the Moon, but all the ramifications of that are also happening to the Moon/Mind/Emotions. Most people misunderstand that this is a dark and evil time, yada yada, and that if you were born with such a Moon, basically you’re toast! My interpretations, however, are that Nature is cyclical and that there is a great ‘purpose’ to these cycles. Upon close examination, one can easily discover that this, New Moon time is for inner, introspection. It’s an inner time, which lends itself quite nicely to 1) RESTING, 2) REJUNENATING, AND 3) HEALING! Those who do this, or allow this to go on; because it’s happening anyways have wonderful experiences during this time. Those who don’t suffer in a variety and specific ways, very symbolic of our charts and dasas periods! So, try it a different way. Be! During these two days! Rest, Heal, and prepare! The Waxing next period is coming fast enough. Let your life be like an arrow being pulled back upon the string of the bow! This slight pause, this healing restfulness will allow you, then to plunge into activity like that arrow, shooting for it’s target! But, if you don’t rest, it’s like your arrow is forgetting to prepare, and then when the Waxing starts, it’s like your level and depth of inner silence and composure will not be as great, as it could have been! Discover this, for yourSelf! Exact New Moon’s on June 25th – This Month! 9am PST (West) These next 2 days teach us about what it’s like to have a Waning Moon and especially a New Moon, in one’s Chart. If you have a Waning Moon, watch how straining against it causes much grief. Then, watch what happens if you surrender, and flow with that inwardness! This experience in the Transits has the potential to teach us about what we’re meant to do if we’re born under the Waning Moon! So, often when you read about the Waning Moon in old Jyotish Books, all the references are extremely pessimistic and negative. “Oh, the person will have no good mind or heart!” Stuff like that. I learned however, through watching these Transits, that there are always important lessons contained within all Astrological moments, especially the so-called Malefic ones. For example, the real purpose of being born on a New or Waning Moon, is one is meant to go inward, like that Moon! The life is supposed to involve a lot of inward direction, however, not being told that, many people with smallish Moons, suffer the results of having a small Moon, mind, or emotional centre. Other Simultaneous Transit Goings On, Now: Venus has entered into Taurus, its Own Sign, From June 19th – July 14th so see if the many wonderful qualities of the heart, affections, and relationships don’t flood forth during this time! Mars is still dangerously close to Saturn/both in Cancer: So, if you’ve been feeling this strange listlessness, not knowing whether to go ahead or stay put, this may be why! Mars, of course, represents dynamism and doing, and is confused enough in Cancer. Now, add on top of that, the fact that dynamic Mars is colliding with sedentary, ‘still’ Saturn, and you get the gist of it. Going and Staying all, too close together! Solution! If you feel this confusion, then 1) Recognize this may be where this is coming from! 2) Ignore it! Don’t take it seriously. The Moon/Mind, so often projects how it’s feeling upon the outer. Oh, should I stay, or should I go?, the mind says. In truth these flucations are coming about only because of some weird karmic vibration that’s only in nature. It is hitting us, even affecting us; but we don’t have to buy into it! Within another 7 days that doubting, vascilating quality will stop! And you’ll wonder, “hey, where did it go?” It’s like a cloud that’s momentarily over the Sun! “Hey, where did the Sun, go?” It went nowhere. It was only obstructed for a short time. We know it didn’t really disappear. But, as a result of that seeming lack of Sun, we should take a flashlight. We should take extra care. But, only if you’re experiencing that ‘cloud’. If not then great and go ahead! But, watch and see if others are confused! That’ll happen quite often for a variety of reasons! The Transits are only 1/3 of our Astrological life! See below for take on how to combine these Transits with your own Personal Chart. New Section: Combining Charts with Transits: Next 2 Days: Reflect on how the 12 Different Rising Signs might experience this Month’s Sun passing through Gemini & especially the New Moon, during these next 2 days! If you’re an Aries Rising, then this Moon & Sun conjunction, better known as the New Moon, will be occurring within your 3rd House. Therefore if you’re feeling a bit confused, or held back in your normal areas of Courage, or Writing, even Communications; then, a good rule of thumb might be to ‘rest’ especially that part of your life! If you’re a Taurus Rising, then #2 is in your first house and Gemini is in your 2nd house of food, speech and wealth. If there seems to be a strange pause in normal flows of money, or even speech can be affected by that stillness! Then this is why. Rest, therefore your 2nd house. Rest your speech! And maybe even fast a little. Allow stillness to come into that part of your life! If you’re a Gemini Rising, then #3 is in your first house, which means that the Sun and Moon are colliding within your body, or your personality at this time. You may experience this New Moon in a more complicated way because ‘we’re’ generally always wanting to rush ahead. So, if ‘you’re are especially feeling strange and a bit confused, this may be why, so plan on doing quiet and peaceful things today just because this ‘collision’ is happening right in your head or body! If you’re a Cancer Rising, then #4 is in your first house and Gemini is in your 12th house of Expenditures, or Transcendent. Pay special attention that you don’t go out and over-spend doing this time. Where Sun & Moon are colliding, generally, that House or area of life is representative of where we need to be still, but often don’t just because we feel a bit weird, or restless. ‘Why is this?’ you may ask? Because we’re not used to resting with Nature, especially because we don’t feel that future coming. This is where we need to use our intellects and especially if you’ve noticed this predictable experience around the New Moon, then we can make some slight effort not to get sucked into too much commotion during these 2 days! Thank goodness it’s generally over the weekend! That’ll help. Now, if you’re a Leo Rising, which is the #5, in your first house then, Gemini is in your 11th House of Gain. 11th House is called the House of Labha, in Sanskrit which means, literally, to gain. So, how we gain flows from our 11th House. So, yep, you got it, this Moon & Sun ‘stop’ will be happening right on top of our House of fulfillment of desires. You may feel a strange kind of ‘cessation’ pertaining to your desires, goals and even aspirations. Know that this is why and let it go. For two days, rest your brain, and rest your incessant churning in your area of goals and aspirations! Rest, ‘it’ and on Monday, you’ll be back to normal. If you’re a Virgo Rising, then #6 is in your first house and Gemini (#3), is in 10th House of Career. So, now you’re getting it. Slowing down, cessation of activities, wrapped around your career, these are some of the possible things that might be happening. But, the Sun & Moon, pause, represents, truly the time when we’re meant to rest the Soul and Mind! Plenty of time to do, and flow out, in a few days. If you’re a Libra Rising, then Gemini’s in your 9th House. This month’s New Moon, then, will fall upon your 9th House of God and spirituality. Having a Libra rising myself, I’ll always so struck with how much more positive the Moon is in Gemini, then when its Exalted in Taurus in my 8th House. Libra Rising individuals should be enjoying the passage of the Sun through their 9th houses. The New Moon there, just means rest in your recent insights there. When I was in in 1988, we heard the Jyotishees say: “The Houses are more important then the Signs.” Quite often, since then, I think I’ve found this to be true, to some extent! If you’re a Scorpio Rising, then Gemini’s in your 8thth House. This Month’s Sun moving through your 8th House represents a great opportunity for spiritual and/or psychic development. Individuals w/Scorpio Rising may face some ‘self-development’ issues but if you have in mind that this is a month of Sun growth, then it’ll be less troublesome. New Moon, there means added attention on your Self-Transformations. If you’re a Sagittarius Rising, then Gemini’s in your 7th House. Issues this month will be upon ‘Relationships’ or partnerships. 7th House is the house of marriage, so some issues or experiences related to partnerships is highlighted. Remember, however, the Sun’s the ruler of the all-important 9th house, moving through the 7th house for Sagittarius Rising individuals, so this will be an added plus! New Moon there means a resting, or cessation of these last 10 days of the Sun’s beginning transit there. Have you learned to ‘feel’ the Sun’s transits yet? It’s fantastic when you do. If you pay more attention to the days of the Transits, you’ll become more sensitive to how the Sun ‘feels’ moving through your Sagittarian Houses! If you’re a Capricorn Rising, then Gemini’s in your 6th House. This month’s Sun & now, Moon transits has to do with healing and compulsions. Sun is your 8th House lord, so issues of obsessions, even addictions may come up during this time. New Moon, now, has to do with taking extra rest in these unique qualities. If you’re a Aquarius Rising, then Gemini’s in your 5th House. This month of the Sun’s transit represents qualities of your 7th House which is where the Sun rules for Aquarians, and as such the 7th House lord Sun, moving through the 5th house is a pretty decent transit. Qualities of Education, mantras and children are highlighted for you this month. Finally, if you’re a Pisces Rising, #12, in your First House, then Gemini’s in your 4th House of Home & Hearth. The Sun’s transit, through your 4th house often has to do with heart and inner emotional happiness. Sun rules however your 6th house so so issues of sickness or chronic health complaints can pop up. This month’s New Moon, then, mean you may feel slightly more ‘ill’, or tired. So, rest more, now! Enjoy! Although don't have much time to write to you, but want to share my validation with you and others. Basically, want to speak on the dynamics of Mars/Saturn as close as they are in Cancer; (CANCER) passing my 8th house/today in my 9th; Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Leo. I have been for a few days feeling pressures coming at me from lots of demands coming out of nowhere, as it were. Having conflict with others in my world; whether it be academic conflict, or communicative, (cell phone runaround help?). The transits really do give indications where, in our chart where and why the conflict exist. Emotionally, moon being smallish, don't feel good about verbal conflict with others (MARS/Saturn). But as soon as I remind myself to get out of the fire, and back into the pan, and into my center, it does help. I have to do this over and over again throughout the day. This is where a new transit is coming in and the actions of(MARS) (SATURN) play with moon is wanning going into a new moon! So, old emotional energy is leaving, and a stronger insightful position coming in. You know Mark, the interesting thnig to note is that this past Wednesday (6-23-06)I felt a calm before the storm, sensing that the morning was too calm, and something is coming, an eeriness!!!
