To Whom can we blame....2/27 from..... M.Kincaid

Dear Friends:

 

 

Jyotish has this so delicous connotation, as to exactly which planet to blame!

 

For problems of lack of self-confidence, we get to blame...our Suns!

 

Or, if we're experiencing any ennumerable qualities of emotional problems, we

might look to our Moons...

 

Or, maybe still, almighty saturn has raised its ugly head,...and it's casting

all kinds of bizarre,... effects our way!

 

For, accidents, fights, disharmony,...anger, resentment, betrayel,...etc... of

course, we look to Mars.....

 

For, lack of love, sadness in love,... on and on...we look to Venus...

 

For, lack of clarity of mind, can't make the right .... decisions... we look

to Mercury,...

and finally

 

For all sorts of perversions, compulsions, obsessions, even addictions, we get

 

to blame almighty Rahu!

 

Then, on day, I picked up Parashara, and came across this passage....

 

" In the beginning the Lord Vishnu entered into the grahas, to bestow upon

others, the natural consequences of their actions.... "

 

And, all of a sudden I got it...

 

It's not, them, that's to blame...

it's me....!

 

ugh...how depressing,...it's my fault,...my karmas coming back,....

my those things I've sowed,...coming back....

 

ugh.......

 

Then, later, it began to creep in....

if it's really only me, that's to blame...

only me,..that's really the cause of all ....'this'....

 

then, maybe, just maybe.... no one else really stands in my way...

 

and maybe, just maybe I can change my stars.....

because I was the one,...that created them, in the first place!

 

And, thus, began my true Jyotish....

the jyotish of self-acceptance...

and the Jyotish of self-development,...through the process of self-transform-

ation!

 

When you integrate...all the other self-help, modalities of Vedic science, to

the great diagnosic, tool of Jyotish....

 

then, Jyotish, all of a sudden makes more sense,....and immediately...

starts becoming a techology for Enlightenment...!

 

instead of just a symbolism, or language,...about our fates,....

As I practice Western Astrology, I read a great deal of parental

conditioning.....which is " to blame " for much. Still, once we

understand the difference between the instructions we were given by

the adults in our childhood, and our own structure of being, we can

begin to turn all the difficulties into useful tools. We have a

saying about " making lemonade out of life's lemons. " My brand of

astrology teaches just that.

 

Incidently, those with Scorpio or Pluto rising are often " blame

magnets " .........they are the people others love to blame.
