Dear Friends:

 

New Moon, today......

 

 

As the Moon 'pauses'....in the New Moon, we can feel this delicious quality

of peace...

 

The whole philosophy of rest and activity,...are the waves of life of the

Moon.

 

It's been said that the importance of the rest cycle, is like an archer, who

pulling the arrow, back upon his bow, reaches the maximum amount of prepared-

ness, with the arrow, back, resting, and yet alert, fully, still, and yet,

only

waiting to rush into activity.

 

Like that 'Life' pulls the arrow of the Moon, back upon the bow, and holds it

there, in sweetness, until the archer is ready to release that arrow, with

complete dynamism...

 

Like that, we either participate with that arrow and Moon, bow...hehehe,....

or

we don't quite understand and we try to be busy,...to do, to think...etc.

when the arrow of nature is being pulled back....

 

Now, today, enjoy that deepest tautness of nature.....as 'she' begins to let

go

and 'we' go flying into the Waxing Moon cycle....coming up.

" Mark, Leslie here. I've been following your transits now for over a year and

am so grateful. Life does seem to follow the stars and I so value being able

to look ahead and see these realities, esp. right before they come. I'm

wondering today. I mean my question is, once we see the patterns that the

transits bring to us, what can we do about it. For example, for me, I feel

quite 'rough' around a number of the Moon's more malefic moments, like the New

 

Moon, and Moon w/Saturn days... oh, yes, can't forget the icky way I feel

when Moon collides with Rahu....? "

 

" Dear Leslie: Your is a very good experience, because at least you're begin-

ning to experience the true source of your Moonish aggravations. Now, that

you

know you have a slight sensitivity esp. during these times, now you can

venture

into the SOLUTIONS! for you!

 

Every 'malefic' moment, whether due to Transits, or even Dasas, or even in our

charts...are nature's consequences coming back to us, showing how we're doing.

And, the maleficness is showing us where we've created actions, not quite in-

tune, with nature or ourselves.

 

Sooo, if we take this perspective on it, then we're in the best possible state

of mind, to begin the process of self-transformation, of self-change, so that

we can completely transform ourselves, in the direction of perfection!

 

This, is my contribution to Astrology, that contained within our 'MALEFICS' is

 

a sign, and wisdom from Almighty Nature, that has the potential of completely

enligtening us!

 

Take your experience, classic, Moonish stuff, so we look at the Moon in your

chart, to try to get to the bottom of 'why'? And, yours is a small Moon, it's

Waxing, getting bigger,but still fairly tiny.

 

Your vulnerableness, is a clear sign of that smallness. Your experiences

during

your Moon, malefic moments, shows that your Moon needs to be strengthened.

 

So, let's explore the 2 or 3 things that I recomend for anyone to strengthen

their Moon, and the a or 2 individul things I see also, in your chart.

 

First of all, the Moon, representing the Mind, is the size, of our conscious

mind's or emotional strength, at birth. So, anything and everything that ex-

pands the Mind, will have an effect of strengthening our Moon!

 

My #1 Astrological and Vedic remedy I recommend for the Moon, then, is

meditation.

 

Meditation, that wonderful technique of consciousness development, literally

expands the container of the mind. Each step we take practicing meditation,

each day, not only unfolds the mental potential, but as the Mind expands, gets

literally 'bigger', then our Moons, too reflect that! (See TM.org, for good

reference to scientific research on meditation.)

 

#2, the 2nd most important 'thing' I recomend, especially for those already

enjoying meditation, is to make a conscious decision to BECOME MORE IN-TUNE

WITH THE MOON! I learned very early, as this was also, one of my greatest

malefic situations, to watch the Moon cycle,to see if I could find any then,

solution to MY, own, sensitivities around my Moon.

 

The greatest thing, literally, that I've learned re. the Moon, is..... the

Moon

is a cycle of rest & activity, and as we watch 'that' and then, allow

ourselves

to be more and more in-tune with those Waxings & Wanings...I found a

miraculous

strengthening,...going on when I did this.

 

When you begin to allow that natural rhythm of the Moon, to be inside of you,

then, I found the Moon swinging, literally, as if pushing my little Moon,

bigger...when the Moon would rise,...and then, deeper, within, when the Moon,

out there, would Wane.

 

Now, when you follow my Moon, transits, now, allow yourself, to swing more,

with the Moon, and keep in touch, and tell me if that helps.

 

Finally, I like to look at each person's Moon situation in their individual,

unique chart and see if there's anything else.

 

When I look at your chart, with Moon, small, so very close to your Sun, the

other thing I notice, is the simultaneous influence of Saturn in the house,

opposite to your Moon, and the presence of Rahu, in the same house, as your

Moon.

 

Both of these planetary configurations, represent potentially negative or

malefic consequences, and are also an important part of the Moonish, solution,

for you.

 

I'll describe briefly, how you can also put attention on Strengthening or bal-

ancing and therefore improving Saturn, which will in turn, start having a

positive effect on your Moon.

 

For you anything and everything you can do to strengthen Saturn will not only

improve your Saturn, but simultaneously, improve 'it's' effects upon your

Moon.

 

In fact, I'll suggest you go to the " files " section of the

, and read the articles I've written about Saturn there.
