Guest guest
I haven't had time to go through the files here, but I find this topic fascinating. I read The Mountain Astrologer from time to time, I've been a fan of Donna Cunningham's approach for years and studied Kundalini Yoga (which focussed on numerology rather than astrology). I've met some of the world's astrology " names " . I bought Matrix software, but skipped the Vedic stuff, unfortunately. Why the passion for astrology, although I am no professional? Well, consider: Birtdate, Time and Place: Minneapolis, MN, USA, 11:46 am, 3 March 1949. That gives me a midheaven Sun/Mars conjunction in Pisces and a Venus in Pisces in house nine, nicely opposed by -- you guessed it -- SATURN. But I think the real astrology bug comes from having Mercury and Uranus in mutual reception, which I was told is the mark on an astrologer. Rising Sign is Cancer in about .03 degrees. The psychological and spiritual side of astrology is what interests me, especially as it relates to our relationships with others and other things like alcohol, sex, the shadowy things. I have a strange feeling about my life right now and I think the answer lies in my approach to becoming a true spiritual warrior! I also study the I Ching and have been in 12-step groups for 20 years. Oh, yes, how did I come across this site ... why, Heaven (Letters) sent me here! Wahe Guru, Sat Nam Gratefully yours, Virginia (or Dharam Kaur, it used to be).
