Dear Amit:

 

The primary uniqueness of my Jyotish is simply on the 'transformative' part of Astrology.

 

I believe there are 2 primary aspects to Jyotish.

 

#1, There's the Understanding part.

 

This is the part that identifies how our live's are captured, or represented by our charts.

 

No matter what system one uses, all systems attempt to explain exactly why we're the way we are!

 

Most Jyotish agrees with most of the ideas, ie. Sun in the 12th house, means something.

 

Sun, in the 12th with Saturn represents something else, too!

 

#2, Then there's the 'transformative' part of Jyotish.

 

Commonly called Jyotish remedies, or remedial measures, but it is believed that we can and in fact, are meant to change our Stars!

 

Or fate, or pre-conditionings...etc.

 

However, traditionally, Jyotish has not emphasized this much.

 

When I first began studying Jyotish, (1988), I'd pick up any book on Astrology, and there would be 95 or 195 pages on the Jyotish, or the Understanding part, and then, tacked on at the end, almost like an after thought, would be 5 pages on remedial measures.

 

But, coming from a meditation or transformative background in Vedic Science, I thought this was not quite right....or balanced...

 

Later I realized a more equal balance say, 50/50%, might be more appropriate....

 

Now, however, I realize.... any small amount of understanding, can be followed by a more greater attention on how to change our stars!

 

As we progress, and especially as our Understanding grows, of the fundamental, what I like to call: 1to1 Correspondence between our lives and our charts....

 

 

Then, we can right away start focusing on the remedial measures...

 

In essence, this has been the main part of my Jyotish....

 

How can we strengthen, or transform any of the so-called or malefically functioning planets in our charts....

 

into more balance, or into their more benefic Status!

ps.... finally the other aspect you personally might find interesting, is that I also am enjoying what I call the Consciousness aspect of Jyotish.

 

In other words, as one evolves, and even expands one's consciousness, through meditation and other vedic means, how might this influence one's chart, too!

Hello Everyone,

I am deeply interested in astrology and metaphysics, right now i am

actively experimenting on the Systems Approach to vedic astrology

and am happy with it .There is still a lot to be revealed. I am

reading into OSHO these days and find it stimulating my perception of

the world.
