Hello Mark,

 

Yes u are very much right abt the saturn. now what i have hear abt

saturn is that in its 19 yrs MD it gives the first 10 yrs as benefic

and makes u rise up and confident and etc..etc..but in the later it

teaches the person abt the spirituality ,

I think Saturn Mahadasa periods depends upon where the Saturn is in their charts.

 

In my case, even though my Saturn was my Yogakaraka planet, but when I went into my

Saturn Mahadasa period in 1991, all kinds of losses started coming to me.

 

I see that as indicative of my Saturn in the 12th house, of loss.

 

Over the first 4 years of Saturn all kinds of imaginable losses came to me.

 

However, after that I learned to understand Saturn better, and after awhile, I began to

learn those lessons, and the Saturn griefs, became less.

as i know that in the later 9yrs of its dasha period, there is moon,

mars, Rahu,and then jupiter antar dasha periods.

 

and the melefic effects starts frm the moon period. it may take the

person away from home life and can make him to understand the world,

it makes him emotional all the way weather it is conjuct in the chart

or not. but it shows the effects of saturn+moon.

 

I have my Moon & Saturn together, in my chart as well, and the emotional 'flag' of the Moon,

is a good indicator of whether SAturn is balanced or acting malefically.

 

now in the period of mars, since saturn is slow and mars is

fast,....saturn makes the person to think overit and then function

but the mars creates such a condition that the native doesnt have

enough time to react over the condition, the native wants to think

over the condition but he is not allowed to think..and thus he gains

all the ups and downs due to decisions taken without thinking thats

the effect of SATURN+MARS...that the person dont take decisons by

applying his own mind.

 

My experience with Mars & Saturn together, is yes, because their natures are soooo different, they 'together' tend to represent this tension, or lack of coordination between the Mars part of us, that likes to do, and the SAturn part of us, that needs to be patient.

 

So, those with Mars/SAturn conjunctions either stay too busy and don't rest enough, or they're so gripped by their Saturns that their Mars, gets negatively affected.

 

What I tell people is they need to strengthen both Mars and Saturn.

 

Sometimes, they'll feel a kind of inertia, and if they're resting enough, then, they need to follow those regular resting periods with dynamic activity....

 

 

 

now in Rahu ..everyone knows the person get so much spiritual that he

talks abt god and nothing else..might be due to his previous dashas

he was so tensed that he left thinking abt the decisions and depends

on GOD...that he will look after everything...

 

Again a lot of people experience Rahu differently.

 

Generally, I've found most people experience more the relative, materialistic nature of Rahu, and don't get on to the spiritual part till the end of Rahu, if then.

 

Ketu, however, because it feels other worldly, often makes people feel unmaterialistic,

and despair and confusion about their material existences....

 

 

now abt guru..its the enemy of Saturn and can harm if the GURU is

malefic in chart..

 

 

In your case, your Guru's the lord of the all-important 10th house, in the 5th house which is a very great yoga.

 

And, though Saturn & Mars may be negatively aspecting that 10th house, however, Jupiter's strong in your 5th...

Abt my experiecnces and yours.. thanks for supporting me.that we both

had nearly same calculations abt saturn-moon and saturn-mars dashas.

 

You might be confused abt my horo..i think.

 

because i have Guru as the lord of 4th and 7th house not 10th. as i am

virgo Rising and its placed in 3rd house in scorpio.

 

abt Rahu and Saturn..i have read and experienced somewhere that it

gives spiritually gains and the related things, might be your experiece

is quite different than me this time.
