Dear Mark:

 

Thanks for admitting me into this interesting group. I sometime visit

vedic astrology message board and happen to read a few of your

messages. I liked what you wrote about Saturn. My experience of

Saturn is somewhat similar. I do not believe that there is any

effective method to appease Saturn other than accepting his dictums;

discipline, sincerity, and service to all. It is not so easy to

accept Saturnfs way of doing things so we need extra amount of

positive energy to understand and accept his commands. Meditation as

you said is surely one of the surest methods to generate positive

energy within us.

DOB 15-August-1964

TOB: 7:06 AM

Lon: 85:50

Lat: 20:14

 

Please let me know your views on this chart.

 

I already passed through the main period of Saturn when I was going

through my educations. As I understand Saturn is not badly placed in

my chart so I did not experience much hurdle in my studies except

that I could not reach the height I wished to have. But I really felt

Saturnfs effect through its last phase during the Rahu sub-period

(1984-87): The sinking nervous feeling with a strong mental

depression. Intuitively, I started meditation and religious activity.

That gave me strength to go through that trying phase and then he

gave me my career in climate research. I feel his presence again now

under the Mercury-Saturn sub-period perhaps doubly strengthened by

its transit through the Cancer. I already sensed what I should do and

I must follow them. Certainly your postings will keep helping me. If

time permits I will enroll into your training program or interact

with some of your postings.

 

I also agree that Saturn is a great guru; I learned homeopathy during

the first bad phase and I am trying to learn Jyotishi now.
