Guest guest
Good, glad to know I'm looking at your right chart. Jupiter's also in that great house of self-discovery, so putting attention on improving your own, self-transformations, will help you enliven your Jupiter too. My particular Jyotish is designed about better understanding the symbolic meanings of the things that are either suffering in our lives, or in the areas in which we want to grow. In other words, our chart's are not only about our fates, or pre-determinisms, our charts are also about our opportunities, and areas of growth. Thanks again for the advice on Jupiter. I think you have my time right. However, here it is again. My time of birth is 6.32 am on 10/23/64 at Pune, India. Ascendant has sun and mercury in Libra. Fifth house has Saturn ® in Aquarius, Eighth house has exalted moon and Jupiter ® in conjunction, 10th house has debilitated Mars in Cancer (similar to yours) and 11th house has Venus. Rahu is in 9th in Gemini and Ketu is in 3rd in Saggitarius in its own star. Thanks a million and I really appreciate your comments below on Jupiter . Regards Deepak Dear Deepak: Do I have your right time at 10/23/1964? If not, pardon for the thoughts. However, for any Jupiter improvements, contemplating the nature and role of Jupiter can be very helpful. For example, Jupiter represents faith, spirituality, and inner consciousness experiences. So, anything that stirs and increases your Jupiter Wisdoms, will literally strengthen your Jupiter. Also, opening yourself up to the advice of 'Gurus', like here, asking for and gaining advice from a Jupiter,.... will help. Also, meditation will give you an experience of strengthening your Consciousness, which is the most basic quality of attunement with Jupiter. Finally, if your Jupiter's in the 8th house, then contemplation the wisdoms of the 8th house, ie. life and Jyotish transformations, for example, can help too. Take care Mark K. ps.... for more, I'd recomend more formal Jyotish readings... to go more in-depth. Yes, I will definitely teach him how to work and rest and pray so that the Saturn challenges are not as severe. In fact some day, I am planning to take him to the Saturn temple in South India so that he may gain a better appreciation of Hindu culture and maybe even Jyotish. On a personal note, my brother in law suffered a brain stroke last week, but miraculously came out of it with blurred vision in the left eye. Since I am going through Jupiter dasa, it tells me that it might give me mixed results. How can I improve on Jupiter to ensure a smooth dasa ? Your thoughts ? Thanks again. regards Deepak Mark Kincaid <m.kincaid wrote: Dear Mark. I just wanted to say that you are doing a great job on the Jyotish forum. Please ignore any people that simply criticize since they are not capable of doing anything productive. Please keep up the good work on the forum. I look forward to reading your emails. regards Deepak Hi Mark. How are you ? Just a personal note that my wife delivered a baby boy yesterday at 9.36 pm in Providence, Rhode Island. Dear Deepak: Glad to hear, it, Congratulations! Sorry, I'm getting back to you so much later. Catching up with emails, tonite. Fascinating chart, your son. Sun, Exalted in Aries. Venus, in it's Own Sign, in Taurus. Jupiter, fully aspecting that good Venus. Main challenge I see, is his Moon & Saturn together, in his chart, in Gemini. So, know that as his parent, you are in a great position, to be able to teach him about this, and especially how to balance and improve his Saturn, way before any challenges and losses, come his way. Moon is relatively good, as it's Waxing, too. Sincerely, Mark Kincaid Deepak vishnu <deepak_vishnu Thu, 12 May 2005 18:32:27 -0700 (PDT) Mark Kincaid <m.kincaid hello. good news. Hi Mark. I look forward to reading your emails. regards Deepak Dear Deepak: Thank you for your kind words. I've had a number of peole send me such nice words which are of course, very encouraging. Having the Moon in Virgo, in my own chart, I understand the impulse to 'criticize'. However, Jyotish has taught me that Moon/Virgo, has a malefic side to it, and being overly critical, for oneself, as well as others is the sign. I've learned instead to focus on the half full glass. It's actually pretty easy to find fault. Children do this all the time. It's of course parent's job, and our's as adults to be as encouraging and uplifting as possible. Moon/Virgo, and other Virgo energies, do come in handy sometimes, especially when used, in a truely constructively critical manner. I'm sure my Moon/Virgo, helps me understand all the diverse, very complicated, differences, and fine distinctions of Jyotish. I've learned too, not to rush in there and pointing the Virgo 'faults', meter, so to speak, but wait until a client of friend asks me for their help. And even then, I ask them to tell me what they'd like to know more about. Then, when I've answered that question and satisfied them, then I wait for their next question. Trying to help people, especially using constructive criticism is a very delicate thing. I do find people like the fact that Jyotish can 'pin-point' the problems in our chart's as in our lives. However, it's not the act of 'criticalness' that ends up healing the maleficness or solving the problems in our lives... Therefore, I've found it very important to be more light handed on the criticisms. People are inspired, much more by appreciations, and upliftments, much more then criticalnesses. These are all good thoughts for all of us, and if this recent experience helps us all, realize how to be more delicate and kind-hearted to each other, then it'll have been worth it. thanks again for your kind words...
