Mark,......thanks... for that good and useful information and guidance......hehhe

Ahhhh, I thought that's what you meant...'King'.....

hehe

I just love the 'transits'. Every day, now for over 18 years my habit is to know what the transits are doing, and watching the environment to see, really if that Astrological flavor that's supposed to be there, is indeed, really there.

When I had gotten through all my Jyotish books and had a basic understanding of the Jyotish principles watching the transits was amazing..

Now I realize, it was almost like the Stars, and ideas & principles of Jyotish, came alive, through the Transits. I'd watch the Moon spiralinig around, and one moment it was supposed to be over there, and then next with that Planets, etc.

The Waxings & Wanings was one of the greatest realizations through the Transits...

You can really 'feel' that, and then when the Moon moves 'in' so to speak with Benefics like Jupiter & Venus you can feel that sweetness.

Then, when the Moon goes through and 'collides' with malefics like Saturn, Rahu & Ketu, wow, is that different....

Later I learned one could also 'experience' the aspects of the planets...

One of my earliest one was when the Moon is with Saturn...

lst Moon's in the same house as Saturn, and that has such a distinctive, real, Saturnian, heavy, and almost depressive quality....

Then the Moon moves into the next sign, and 'poof' that intensity of Saturn feeling goes away!

Wow, that's weird I'd think...

And I'd almost forget about 'it', (Sani's influence), till a few days later, I'm walking around and all of a sudden that ol' Saturn experience, across my feelings comes back!

I'm thinking " Wow, this is weird I wonder what's going on. " So I look and I realize, 'Oh, my God, the Moon's in that classic, '3rd house aspect' from SAturn. And I am experiencing it.

Then Jyotish got to be quite amazing and fun. Every day I would literally 'experience' and verify each and every one of the Transits.

This went on for a few years, then I began to think, especially, as I evolved into an appreciation of the deeper, even more significant aspect of 'transformation' in Jyotish.

In other words, I started to realize that our charts are not just indicative of our 'fates' or 'karmas'. They're also symbolic of our growth areas.

Specifically, 'the malefics in our charts are not just symbolic of our problems and challenges. Literally, they represent the very areas of our live's and our chart's that we're meant to grow, within.

Then, watching the Transits, began to be an interesting 'puzzle' in how am I doing with 'my' areas of growth.

Moon being very small in my chart for example, especially because it's my 10th house lord, in the 12th house, small, and with Saturn,... ultimately became a very important part of my research in Jyotish & future Understanding.

As I watched the Moon's Waxings & Wanings, it started to occur to me, that this 'cycle' of the Moon, too, might have a purpose.

Originally I just experienced different affects.

When the Moon was going through the Waxing stage every day I'd feel stronger, more energy, more outwardness and more happy.

Weird, huh?

Well, that's the Moon for you, expressive of our inner feelings and happiness.

Then, I'd notice that that whole train of progress, would almost abruptly 'peak' during the Full Moon, and poof, it would then start to diminish.

As the Waning period began I'd feel that 'whooosh' quality, you know when you let the air out of a balloon, the Moon getting smaller and smaller, felt like that....

Whooooosh,....... and then I'd notice a growing inwardness, quieter, more silent, and wanting to be more and more still, the smaller the Moon became.

That cycle too would have it's culmination in the 'end', of the New Moon, and like the pivot of the Full Moon, the Moon would gradually swing to 'that side' kind of like a pendulum.

Then, the cycle would begin all over again,....Waxing....and growing to Fullness, then, poof, and then, sliding back into 'nothingness'.....

It was so amazing watching this, as the most basic Astrological cycle 'goings on'.

Eventually I came to realize this might be one of the most important cycles that exist for us, on this Planet.

I mean the tides are created by this cycle, so many species of plants and animals seem to be affected by the Moon, too.

One time, during a Nature show on TV they were talking about this particular shell fish, that every Full Moon, in February, swims back to this particular cove off the coast of Thailand, to lay it's eggs!

I thought, " Wow, and scientists think the Stars couldn't have any influence upon the Earth! "

Now, their own research is bringing out some of the sublte currents that are goings, on.

Well, this was way more then I thought I'd be talking about.

Thought it might be fun, to reflect on the role of the Transits, for us, for the whole group, and right now I'm teaching a Jyotish Internet course, and think I'll use this as a teaching tool, about the Transits....

Glad you liked that new format of the Calendar.

I think my next step will be to create a whole year like that. Now, that would be fun.

It's so amazing to me learning 'these' transits. Now, I really have a sense what the future will be like.

About 6 weeks ago I started thinking about the Spring, and could hardly wait for the Saturn Winter to be over.

Then I started looking into the Spring and trying to come up with a time which might be good to start my next Internet course.

Then, I saw that not only was the Sun going to be Exalted, like it always is, but there would be a Waxing period, of the Moon, that would be nice, too, and also Venus was Exalted in there, for awhile, and Mars was Exalted....

Mmmmmmm, that looked like a good period,....

To then 'experience' that 'flavor' of period, actually happen, way ahead of actually experiencing it, itself, was another, wonderful experience.

And, now there are over 30 people participating in this course, and it's been exilerating realizing that these 'transits' really do happen, and work the way they're supposed to.

I guess part of the confusion, is within the realities of the daily, and seasonal and yearly transits, during different 'years' we're also going through different dasas.

Now, that really changes one's experiences of the transits, too.

I remember when I was in Jupiter Mahadasa and how differently I experienced the transits.

Then, as I slid into Saturn what a huge shock of a difference.....

So, then I started watching how one's experiences of even the 'transits' get's influenced dramatically by the dasas....

Now, I realize understanding 3 things; transits, dasas, and of course, all the realities of our own particular charts....really goes a long way at 'capturing' our every day, human experience!

Take care

All for now...

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid...

Thanks for that good and useful information and guidance......hehhe .

King...What's that?

hehhe

Mark

Now that's what I'm talking about. Thanks.

New Year....

2005

Starting April 13th,...

In Jyotish the Cosmic Year begins on the first day that the Sun returns to the lst degrees of Aries.

We can celebrate the New Year, on this day.

It's especially nice to celebrate the New Year, when the Spring is coming,

and the harher Winter is done.

Enjoy this wonderful look at what's going to be happening with the Stars!

for you, this up-coming year.

Sincerely,

Times listed in CDT, or Central Daylight Savings, U.S. since April 2nd.

Please adjust for different Time Zones.

General Highlights Starting the Year.

Sun moves into Aries, on April 13th, which represents the Sun's happiest place to

be in Exalted Aries!

Very Auspicous because Sun represent's ourSelves, our Self-confidence and 'will'.

Mars is also Exalted, right now, as it's in it's Sign of Exaltation, too. (Capricorn)

Mars represents energy and dynamism so physical prowess will be very strong

during this time, till April 22nd when Mars moves into it's next sign.

Main Weaknesses, right now:

Mercury's in it's worse sign, Pisces, which means Intellect and decison makings will

be hardest 'right now'.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday

April 13th 14 15 16 17

A

Sun Exalted from 4/13 - 5/13th.... Very Auspicious

Today, Moon finishes it's sign of Exaltation in Taurus.

Mars is also Exalted till April 22nd. Also very auspicious.

Thur. 14th

A

Sun still Exalted.

Moon's in Gemini, moving into same sign as Saturn.

Mars continues in Strength - Good for all manners of

activities, endeavors and projects

Fri. 15th

B-C

Moon starts off the day at the 23rd degree

of Gemini, and because Saturn's running

the 27th degree, today will be a more

delicate, Saturn Warning, day!

Sat. 16th

A

Moon moves into Cancer,

It's Own Sign. Very Auspicious

Especially because Sun & Mars

are both still Auspicious.

Moon 1/4 Full in Cancer -

Also very positive.

Sun. 17th

A

Moon moves to the 16th degree

of Cancer. Again Very good day.

Great Weekend for most every-

thing.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday

18 19 20 21 22 23 24

Mon. 18

A-B

Moon finishes Cancer and moves into Leo, today.

Moon in Leo, is normally fine, but this Month & Year, Moon's being

fully aspected by both Saturn & Mars. Be careful, as day may reflect

some negative or intense qualities, too.

Tue. 19th

A-B

Today, pretty much the same as yesterday.

Moon's at the 11th degree, which means it's moving closer and closer

to the same degrees as that Mars & Saturn which are running the 27th

degrees in Capricorn, for Mars and Gemini, for Saturn.

Wed. 20th

B-C

Moon starts off at the 23rd degree, so the negative influences

of Mars and Saturn will be the most today. You may feel that

surcharge especially of Mars' nature, and feel strong dynamism,

the danger is we might be too Marish, harsh or bossy. So, utilize

this time, to do and accomplish, but not too rash.

Thur.21st

B

Moon moves into Virgo today. Generally good,

especially because Jupiter's also in Virgo, this year,

which is very positive for most things!

Only slight concern, is dreaded Ketu/Rahu are in

Virgo and Pisces, so you may begin to feel some of

this less positive affects. Though the strongest

part will not be till Saturday.

Fri., 22nd

A- B-C

Moon starts off the day at the 16th degree of

Virgo so the Moon, 'right now' will be very close

to very positive Jupiter, which is running the 17th

degree of Virgo. Expect good nature support,

good luck and grace today. Though later in the day

the Moon will get closer and closer to Ketu which is

at the 28th degree of Virgo. That's why there's a

mixture here, today.

Sat., 23rd

C-D

Today, Moon starts off at the 29th degree of

Virgo and because Ketu's at that 28th deg.

then, the beginning of the day might be esp-

-ecially rough. Quickly, however, the Moon

moves into Libra, which is a good sign, and

the Moon is Full, in Libra, this Month.

Full Moon, tomorrow. So, feeling of fullness

should be there, especially later in the day.

Sun 24th

A

Full Moon

5am CDT

Moon starts off at the 12th deg.

of Libra today. Enjoy Fullness of

the Moon, as the Fullness of the

Heart & Mind, on this day. Also

Auspicious because this is the

only time of the year when the

Moon's full while the Sun is

Exalted in Aries.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday

25 26 27 28 29 30 5/1

A-C- D

Moon starts off the day at the 26th degree of Libra,

so 4 more degrees means 8 more hours of Libra, which is good.

After that, Moon moves into Scorpio which is immediately less

comfortable as Scorpio is the worse Sign for the Moon, and may

be experienced as depressive, or angry and irritable.

Next 2 days will continue in this vein. I always find this is an

important transit of each month and a good time to rest, to

recuperate, to do something fun and less stressful. Too bad

it's coming during the beginning of a new week, this year.

Tue. 26

D

Moon starts off at the 10th degree of Scorpio, so the worse of this

Scorpio day will probably be today. Fortunately Sun is so very

strong still, and the Moon, after all is still very bright. Good news,

is the Moon moves very quickly and by tomorrow night will be in a

completely better sign, Sagittarius.

Wed. 27

D-C

Moon starts off the day at the 24th degree/Scorpio, so only

4 more degrees,or only 8 more hours of Mars roughness in

the Moon. (Mars rules Scorpio)

After that, Moon's movement into Sagittarius, much happier!

Thur. 28

B-A

Moon starts off day at the 8th degree of Sagittarius.

See if you don't feel much better, now! These immediate

shifts in the Transits of the Stars, and Planets are the

most obvious when they have to do with the Moon.

Moon, after all represents our 'feelings', 'receptivity', and

'intuition'. Moon/Sagit. being ruled by Jupiter, represents

a great day. Good luck, fortune, breaks, and important

knowledge comes during these Jupiter/Sagittarian days.

Fri. 29

A-B-C

Moon start's off at the 23rd degree of Sagittarius today.

You'll feel still pretty good. However, Moon begins to

move into the degrees of Sagittarius where Saturn's

aspect from Gemini, will start to be felt. Saturn's

presently running the 27th degree in Gemini, so 4

degrees, means between the next 4 to 8 hours you may

start to feel the unmistakable Saturn like qualites. If you

start to feel, 'rough', or 'tired' or even a little, depressed,

this is why. Saturn's aspects and influences are Nature's

way of trying to show us where we need more rest and

recuperation.

Sat. 30

B-A

Today, Saturday, Moon moves into Capricorn. So,

Moon's Waning and now is entering it's final

Quarter. If you have a habit of not resting enough

during the Waning Moon, cycle then this will be the

time when you really feel the lack of it. The Good

News, is there's not much other malefic influence

upon the Moon. In fact Jupiter is fully aspecting

Capricorn during it's present transit in Virgo, so

you might have some good breaks, and insights,

and generally positive side-effects! Only thing to

watch is Ketu also aspects Carpricorn, since it's

also in Virgo. The thing to watch is you don't get

apathetic due to this influence. If you do, dismiss

it, and get more rest which should help a lot.

Hope you've all enjoyed this new format for looking at the Star's Transits.

Would appreciate your feedbacks, as I'm considering using this new Calendar

format for all future Transits.

Sincerely,
