Guest guest
On Andrea Dworkin, Astrological Considerations... 9:45 AM 4/17/05 Sun Hi All, While the Pope's death and funeral was all in the news, the passing of ultra-radical feminist Andrea Dworkin kind of flew under the radar...and since I sort of have a nose for such things, I wanted to make sure we dealt with this person, life and horoscope while the iron's still hot. Andrea Dworkin Sep 26 1946 5.03pm EDT Camden, NJ Plac 20 Aqr 43 Rodden You'll kindly note that strong Mars-Saturn square in the chart, strong I say because it's in Fixed Signs, with Mars in Scorpio (along with Venus) at that. Some of you may have seen a recent post wherein which I stated my observation of women having hard Mars-Saturn aspects correlating to their very hard experiences with men. Here, in Dworkin's case, we can easily see the astrological underpinnings that played out in her life's work as an ultra-feminist. In that Saturn represents the father symbol, we can easily see that there had to be some " issues " with her father and/or father figures early on in her life. Note too that Saturn is widely conjunct Pluto in the 6th House (subjugation)...and with Mars in the 8th, we might surmise perhaps a bit of sexual abuse early on? If I recall, Dworkin did mention something along those lines. This chart confirms what I have been seeing now for the better part of a decade and vindicates the writings of astrologers from yesteryear, that whenever a woman has in her chart a very strong and prominent Mars-Saturn aspect, you can be certain that it will reflect her strong problems with men.
