Up-Coming Astrological Course of Study....

and for those who are still interested, here's my Introduction to the course.

Dear Friends:

 

When I think about Astrology, looking back now, I realize, there's never been a Philosophy, or science or even religion, that's stirred my life so much or with such satisfaction.

 

I reflect on that, when I think of starting this new year's worth of amazing Jyotish/Astrological study. What is it about Astrology that has this amazing potential?

 

Perhaps it's because every aspect of life, every Philosophy, every science, even every religion, is already there, contained, within Astrology.

 

Like that, every aspect of our life, is there, contained with the confines of our Charts.

 

When we reflect on our Astrology, and especially 'learn' the details of each and every aspect of our Charts, we end up stirring such an amazing degree of 'ahhhhh',....to us, that suddenly ... without knowing, we get this amazing satisfaction,...that 'wow,....I'm really like that!'

 

I call this the Astrological 'Resonance',....or the Jyotish...'ahaaaaa', or the life....Eureka!

 

However you define it, there are these very real and wonderful feelings of recognition, ahhhha, or understanding that waifs over us with each and every step of our charts....

 

All we have to do is study, and then,....

Do one thing....

 

And that is, 'reflect'.... Am I like this?

And/or, how am I like this?

 

For example, we hear about what the Sun in Gemini is supposed to be like, and we read that. Maybe we have our date of birth as between somewhere between June 15 & July 15th, and we're supposed to have our Sun's in Gemini, so we read that description.

 

And then, we 'reflect'....

 

Did any of that description fit us!

 

Then, do one more thing.

 

We write down that quality, or write down that description.

 

There's a good chance that's an intimate detail of your really, true, and unique, specific, Astrology chart.

 

The other main thing I suggest as you start on this amazing rode of self-discovery is:

 

Make a list of personal qualities, characteristics and tendencies, that you already know about yourself.

 

These could include:

 

I'm five foot 4 inches. __________

I have brown hair and hazel eyes.

I have a slender body frame.

I'm a little allergic to dust and mold.

I'm attracted to shy women.

I'm interested in new age, environmental issues.

And, I have such and such relationship with my parents...

I have 3 brothers and sisters.

2 brothers are older and ...

my sister is younger.

I'm interested in going back to school and finishing my Master's degree.

Or, I'm already working and I have a wife and 2 children.

I'm making such and such a year.

I'm wishing that I could make more.

I have some health complaints.

I have some stiffness in my lower back.

I'm very frustrated with how long it's taking me to advance in my career.

Or, I'm a very emotional person.

Or, I'm shy.

Or, I'm out going.

I'm happy, whatever...

On and on and on....

 

Write down as many qualities, characteristics, tendencies, and relationships, aspects of your life as you can....

 

Not only check these qualities, but fill in the blanks, describe with as much detail as you can.

And even more if you can.

 

Then, in the context of our study, over the next few weeks, as you study each and every aspect of your chart, you're going to discover,....

Astrological answers to each and every one of those descriptions....

 

When you've found an Astrological Answer to all of these, you will have completed the First Major Phase of Astrological Study!

 

I call it that 'Aha'.... or Jyotish Resonance.

 

Once you get that, you will discover such an amazing since of satisfaction!

 

You will have glimpsed or cognized your chart!

 

This itself, is a major accomplishment,....

and it's also...

the first important milestone towards the next and 2nd major Astrological Accomplishment...

and that's Jyotish/Astrological 'Transformation'....

 

Once you've found yourself, in your Chart,.... then begins the possibility of changeing those things that you're meant to change.

 

In our charts, as within ourselves, we have 2 basic categories of Astrology that express our charts.

 

#1, we have strengths, we have parts of our Astrology that are described in positive, uplifting, and encouraging tones!

 

These are our Strengths! and are called our Benefics!

 

We need to know what our strengths are!

 

We'll learn how to understand and utilize our strengths, more after studying our Astrology....

 

#2, we'll also find that we have weaknesses,....we have negatives, aspects of our charts, that are described in less than rosy terms. These are our challenges, those things that we're struggling with, and in fact, are the malefics in our charts...

 

Once we discover which of our Astrological configurations are our Benefics, and which our Malefics,...we begin the process of Jyotish Aha....or Discrimination.

 

Then, we'll be able to write down these various Benefics and Malefics on to, two separate pieces of paper, or computer files!, hehe.

 

These two compilations, will help us then, separate out our strengths from our weaknesses....

 

As it turns out, the ability to transform, any of our malefics,....into a strength!

is dependent upon first identifying it as a malefic....

 

You'll then also, be able to take your original list, and as you go through it,

you can write down each of those qualities in two lists, one being my benefics,...and secondly, my malefics....

 

This will help you as well.

 

Once you've accomplished this great goal of finding your Benefics & Malefics,...

and you've accomplished the beginning of this great, Jyotish/Astrological 'Discrimination'....

 

Then, will begin the even more important task of 'Jyotish' TRANSFORMATION!

 

First, we learn how to cognize our Charts...

 

Secondly, we can learn how to transform ourselves, through transforming our Charts!

 

These are then, the 2 major goals of our course of study!

 

You may have been doing this already,... in your previous Astrological study, or you may be doing this in your life, before, pre-Jyotish.

 

It's the nature of life, anyway.

 

We're living our lives, ......

we have strengths,.... and weaknesses....

We're already trying to learn which are which.... and

we're already trying to learn how to take advantage of our strengths....

and especially, identify, even isolate, and then, later change, our weaknesses, into strengths!

 

Jyotish and Astrology just enlivens this life process, in a very profound way.

 

Because Astrology understands Nature.

 

As it turns out Nature is Astrological.

 

We live in not only an Astronomical Universe, but....we live in an Astrological one, as well.

 

Life itself, has an existence,....an 'I' if you would....

and that 'I', even though being Cosmic, or of the Heavens....

is in fact, existent in many forms of Ariesness, and Taurian qualities, and Geminish, feelings.

Each and every aspect of Astrology, not only is fascinating, but...

 

these qualities, and descriptions of 'nature' are in fact, very synonymous, with reality!

 

Reality or Consciousness, itself, even our own, consciousness, can be so accurately understood in terms of these various Astrological 'archetypes'.

 

Somehow, they fit, us, ...as they fit life.

 

Why is the Universe is Astrological?

 

Maybe no one really knows why...

 

Maybe God knows, ... however, these symbolisms, really do fit the very real, specific and even precise qualities of every single human being, being born on this earth!

today, and yesterday, and every day into the future!

 

What an amazing knowledge that's able to figure out or decipher, all the possible qualities, and characteristics, that any individual could 'be'....

and evolve a system of understanding, ....

that sooooo accurately is able to unravel all the subtle intricacies, of each one of our lives....

 

Why one of us, likes doing 2, 3 or even 4 things at the same time.

While another, likes nourishing, being compassionate, and motherly....

Why another, likes to be the boss!

And another, likes leaning.

And another, still, likes being quiet, and researching...

 

Each and every aspect of our Sun, Moon & Rising Signs go deeply into the very real, and unique, precise, even, ... human Astrological nature that we're already living....

 

Learning how those 3 aspects of our Charts, are in fact, our 'Trinity'.....of 3 in 1....

 

are the most important aspects of our charts, and also very revealing as to our very human Nature,...

 

....is a good first goal to achieve.

 

So, we'll focus on these 3 in the beginning.

 

We'll discover how we're these three aspects all rolled into one.

 

We are an 'I',.... self-existent,... We are an ego, a self, an 'I'....

We're also a feeling, self. We have feelings and we have even an emotional center, which is our Moon's, emotions, feelings and intuition.

We're also a distinct personality.

 

We're an 'I', or a Sun,....a feeling or a Moon, and a personality or a Rising Sign.

 

All three of these most important qualities of our Astrological chart's, go to a great extent at helping us unravel the complex diversity which is our Astrological Nature!

 

I call it Discovering our Astrological Selves!

 

 

You may already know a little bit, or a lot about these 3 three parts of you.

 

That's good!

 

Then, just go through and review these three, and then, we'll quickly start going into each and every other aspect of your Astrology, as well.

 

This time, though as you reflect on your, 3 in 1, Sun, Moon & Rising Signs,....

connect these three, .... descriptions,....

connect them, to your 'Qualities' list that you've also written....

 

This will help you resonate with your Astrology even more.....

 

In this first month,....

we will reflect on the deep Philosophy, and Principles of Astrology.

 

We will also reflect on how the Astrology works, and each and every aspect of the basic, Rasi, or Birth chart.

 

This is the primary most important chart and we'll review how this chart, is a map or a mirror, of the Astronomy, of the 'sky' at the very moment of our births.

 

In other words, our Astrology is just the meaning or the Astrology or the meaning of the Astronomy that was going on on that day, when we first were born, on this Earth.

 

Our Astrology chart's then, are snap shots, of that Astronomy, though Astrology, itself, contains much more then just an understanding of the Astronomy.

 

Astrology contains the wisdom of the 'whys', or the meanings of those events or characteristics.

 

The 'whys' of the Universe, 'up there', in the heavens, are the 'whys' of our own very existence, down here, on Planet Earth.

 

This first Month: We will study....

 

 

o What the Planets mean and Represent

o What the Houses mean and represent.

o What the Signs mean and represent.

 

We'll also create our 'Qualities' Lists, and begin the process of discovering Astrological Discrimination.

 

You may already have discovered some of your benefics and malefics.

 

So, once you've written down your qualities, list....

if you want you can go ahead and start breaking them, apart into 2 other lists...

One, benefics....

the other, malefics.....

 

The 3 major groups that we're dividing into, will pursue these similar goals, at just different speeds.

 

If you've never really understood Astrology very much, I'll recommend you take the Basic Course.

 

This will go at the most leisurely pace and go through each and every aspect pretty smoothly.

 

If you've already studied, Astrology a bit, and have already read up on your charts, before, then, the Middle course, might be good for you.

 

This group will go through the beginning stage more quickly, though we'll stop and review any and every aspect that seems to need refreshment.

 

Finally, if you've studied your Stars, a lot, and think the Advanced Group is good for you, we'll still review all the basics, but at the quickest, natural pace that fits.

 

 

 

Also write down, an Introduction about yourself.

 

What your previous background in Astrology is.

How much have you learned so far.

 

Also, describe if you've ever had Astrological readings done, before and how many.

 

Finally, how well do you feel that you really 'know' your chart?

 

And what are you hoping to achieve through this course?

 

In other words, find yourself in either of these 3 primary groups, and describe what concrete goals you want to achieve, in this course of study....

 

Also, what aspects of human life, and improvement are you interested in?

 

In other words, what human accomplishments are you interested in, in addition to your Astrological learning.

 

Are you interested in becoming less shy or timid?

Or are you interested in learning how to fulfill your desires more quickly?

Or are you interested in stopping having so many chronic accidents?

Or are you interested in becoming more self-confident!

Or are you interested in improving your health?

Are you interested in attracting a 'most' perfect/for you, interpersonal or romantic spouse.

Or are you interested on getting along better, with your present spouse or relationship?

Or are you interested in Spiritual matters, or finding God?

 

Whatever the goal, whatever the dream or desire, .....

write those down for me, so I know what you're interested in.

 

I'll then, help you learn your Astrology so that not only do you 'learn' it,

in the way that you understand it...

 

but, also so that you learn 'it', in such a way that you learn how to improve yourself...

and accomplish those goals that you've written out....

 

This is the real goal of Astrology or Jyotish.

 

To not only learn our Stars, and or star patterns....but... also to learn those things we need to learn so we learn how to grow, to adapt, to change, and especially transform, into....

that person that we're meant or supposed to be!

 

 

 

That's the great 'hope' of Astrology.....

 

to help us understand our lives, better,....

and

how to gain the tools, and wisdom to know how to transform ourselves into a better us!

 

 

This is the great hope and dream and practical wisdom of good or great Astrology.

 

Anything less then this, is not enough.

 

It's not enough that we just understand our Stars!

 

It's also very important that we learn how to rejuvenate ourselves, and become the future us,

that's also there, potentially, in our Stars!

 

Our Star, charts, not only represent our present condition,....

but,....

they also represent the entire stream of evolution of our Star, patterns!

 

 

In this course, we will learn the entire range of accomplishment of our huge, human potential, and we'll also learn those practical skills to be able to quickly move and traverse, along 'that' path of natural self-development.

 

Jyotish/Astrology is the ultimate self-improvement technology,....

and

we'll learn how to utilize that 'knowledge' for any and every aspiration of human life, imaginable!

 

It's all there, within Astrology, .....

 

We just have to learn how to stop undermining, or sabotaging ourselves.

 

Even modern Psychology, today, understands that we through, conscious and unconscious means, undermine and sabotage ourselves.

 

Whether it's because of a lack of self-confidence that we got from our nasty upbringing.

Or because of a lack of good teachers growing up.

Or maybe we got this inclination to stay up, when we were young, or go too fast.

Whatever the symbolism...

Whatever the maleficness, ....

 

We need to learn to stop and change those malefics habits, into their naturally, more benefic possibilities....

 

Once we do this, we will automatically, be living the higher value of our Stars...

and then, spontaneously,...we'll find ourselves,....living the life that we were meant to live!

 

Come live that life, with me.

Come and enliven your stars, together.

It's a great, very exciting adventure....

 

And you're the Star!
