Guest guest
Dear Shashank, Shripal & All: Traditionally, Jyotish describes the 'dasas' as being more powerful. But, in my experience and in the experience of others, I find that people with smaller, or more delicate, Moons, are more affected by the transits, then even the dasas. Also, I notice that the 'transits' are going on, out-there, and feel like they're on more the surface of my skin, or nervous system, whereas the dasas, really seem to relate to a much more subtle, 'emotional' level, of experience. The other thing I've noticed is by learning to look at both the transits, and dasas, simultaneously, I've learned how to feel 'both' at the same time. Dasas, to me, now, feel more continual, and the transits, with especially the Moon's Waxings & Wanings, .... are 'felt' more on the surface. A good way to feel the dasas, is to get really precisely clear about the transits, and then, you'll notice that a subtlety of the dasas, seems to be going on, through-out the entire sub-periods of the transits. I do find it a little difficult to feel the difference between the transits, and the smallest level of the dasas, but I'm sure some can 'feel' those as well. Most of the time, I'm aware of the Maha, middle, and 3rd level dasas, all at the same time, and then, the transits, on top of those.... hope this helps. Sincerely, Mark K. pss.... Beautiful. Now from your experience, how long (before and after) the effect of transits lasts? My experience of the effects of the transits, depends on how I'm feeling and now, that I've been watching them for over 18 years, I've noticed their negative effects have lessended dramatically. For example, it used to be that I'd feel a quality of roughness during a lot of the Moon's Waning cycle. But, the longer I watched 'it', I began to notice that there was a very predictable, quality of my nervous system, going inwards, when the Moon was Waning, and feelings of more exhuberance when the Moon Waxes. Then, I noticed as I innocently felt, and then allowed myself to be more with those particular differences,... in other words, be more inward, resting more, taking more rest; during the Waning part, then.... I began to notice the overall, initial negative effects, .... lessening more and more. Now, after all this time, I don't feel hardly at all, the quality of apprehension, or unsettled quality during the entire range of the Waning Moon. Instead I experience the positive side of that inwardness, and I feel like I'm taking much more advantage of that particular flavor. So, there's no telling how long you have to experience the duration of any transits, but, listen to your nervous system.... and see if you can figure out what Nature wants... and learning to adjust,...see if you also feel better, especially during the transits, which have been the most troublesome. Hi Mark, So considering these three things effect our life, that means transit in my chart sems to be more powerful than dasa. But considering a whole scenario. For example a moment or let say few time of a day is intensely experienced by Transit.but when I look at a week, than overall credit that I can give of my experience is because of Merc-Ketu dasa currently going. What I think about daily transit is like for that moment, But dasa is like actually overall things going around. Let say for me to experience a aloneness or happiness for a travelling in a bus for an hour with my friends and having a lots of fun on that particular day, because of transit influencing natal very much and dasa hasa vry small role or no role to play. But when I look at a end of week and see How my whole week has gone, that seems like more dasa eect than transit really influenced that person. More precise manner if I want to tell same thing,I would say it is your natal.Natal defines it's limits How much you will get or possesss.while dasa signifies time when these things are going to happen.Transit either delays it or makes it happen. So root of everything is natal.Transit is for a moment and that momnet can be your promotion in a job,But natal should signify that, otherwise you will never get.And dasa plays a role like who is curently a King of your chart. For me Mercury Mahadasa is a King and Ketu is Mantri,SO I should look first for thess two planets and than, How these planets are related in Natal with Transit.Than How other planets are influencing these planets in Natal and similarly in Transit. So dasa is for finding who is currently acting in your film. What do you think about this? --- Mark Kincaid <m.kincaid wrote: > Dear Shripal: > > As far as how to know how much of our experiences > are due to either the > transits, dasas, or our charts; .... experience and > knowledge both together > seem to be necessary. > > The Jyotish knowledge says for example that dasas > are slightly more dynamic > an influence then the transits. > > However, in 'my' experience, and I've learned, in > the experiences of many > people with smaller Moon's in their charts; transits > are more dominate. > > So, knowledge and experience, the true signs of a > real 'science'. > > Also, it might be more helpful if you ask me a > particular question related > to your chart, in trying to determine whether some > experience you're going > through is due to the transits, or your dasas, or > even your chart. > > It is a great comfort, however, to realize that > ultimately, these 3, are > really the main aspects of Astrology that are > 'goings' on, all the time. > > Knowing these three, then, and especially what to do > about strengthening the > malefic parts of them, is a great benefit of good, > consciousness Jyotish. > > Sincerely, > > > Mark Kincaid > > > > > > Shripal <d_shripal > > Sun, 6 Feb 2005 22:46:15 -0800 (PST) > > > > My Exp Moon in Sagittarus--> To Mark > > > > Hi Mark, > > > > I don't what happen on Saturday night while I was > > going for a sleep, as sleep wasn't coming all > along I > > was thinking.A thought came to mind, a past arise > in > > front of me, I was able to LOVE someone or I Loved > > someone. Is it truely a Love or mere just a > attaraction > > or may be I am feeling becaus I am all alone > curently. > > > > Than a thought came what is Love, so I read it > some > > where, which arises when desire is not there that > is > > LOVE, as Love has got nothing to with bodies, So I > > really Love someone, Yes a answer I got.A feeling > was > > tremendous and a smile came on my face and withing > no > > moment I fell a deep sleep. > > > > As my Birth data:DOB:16th March > > 1980,Time:21:00,Place:Rajkot, INDIA: 22n18, 70e47, > > India . transit Moon comes in 3rd place, trine > with my > > Mars,Sat ,Rahu and jupiter.Same Moon squaring > transit > > Jupiter. Guest guest
Hi mark, Good to hear from you,After a holiday of 4 days I am back. Know If dasa planet is very strong in a chart, that person fel mostly experience those benefic or malefic effect rather than transit effects at all. Let say a beggar must be going through his worst dasa of Life that's why even if in transit exalted saturn comes he is not able to feel it. So for a wholistic approach dasa should be given more importance. However transit is like for that moment we are laughing or crying or gone for a party or like me for making hoildays for 4 days.so transit will tell you more preciously how those hoilidays are going to go.That you cannot find it from dasa. what do you think about it Mark? --- Mark Kincaid <m.kincaid wrote: > Dear Shashank, Shripal & All: > > > > Traditionally, Jyotish describes the 'dasas' as > being more powerful. > > But, in my experience and in the experience of > others, I find that people > with smaller, or more delicate, Moons, are more > affected by the transits, > then even the dasas. > > Also, I notice that the 'transits' are going on, > out-there, and feel like > they're on more the surface of my skin, or nervous > system, whereas the > dasas, really seem to relate to a much more subtle, > 'emotional' level, of > experience. > > The other thing I've noticed is by learning to look > at both the transits, > and dasas, simultaneously, I've learned how to feel > 'both' at the same > time. > > Dasas, to me, now, feel more continual, and the > transits, with especially > the Moon's Waxings & Wanings, .... are 'felt' more > on the surface. > > A good way to feel the dasas, is to get really > precisely clear about the > transits, and then, you'll notice that a subtlety of > the dasas, seems to be > going on, through-out the entire sub-periods of the > transits. > > I do find it a little difficult to feel the > difference between the transits, > and the smallest level of the dasas, but I'm sure > some can 'feel' those as > well. > > Most of the time, I'm aware of the Maha, middle, and > 3rd level dasas, all at > the same time, and then, the transits, on top of > those.... > > hope this helps. > > > Sincerely, > > > Mark K. > > > > pss.... > > Beautiful. > > Now from your experience, how long (before and > after) the effect of > transits lasts? > > > My experience of the effects of the transits, > depends on how I'm feeling and > now, that I've been watching them for over 18 years, > I've noticed their > negative effects have lessended dramatically. > > For example, it used to be that I'd feel a quality > of roughness during a lot > of the Moon's Waning cycle. > > But, the longer I watched 'it', I began to notice > that there was a very > predictable, quality of my nervous system, going > inwards, when the Moon was > Waning, and feelings of more exhuberance when the > Moon Waxes. > > Then, I noticed as I innocently felt, and then > allowed myself to be more > with those particular differences,... in other > words, be more inward, > resting more, taking more rest; during the Waning > part, then.... > > I began to notice the overall, initial negative > effects, .... lessening more > and more. > > Now, after all this time, I don't feel hardly at > all, the quality of > apprehension, or unsettled quality during the entire > range of the Waning > Moon. > > Instead I experience the positive side of that > inwardness, and I feel like > I'm taking much more advantage of that particular > flavor. > > So, there's no telling how long you have to > experience the duration of any > transits, but, listen to your nervous system.... > > and see if you can figure out what Nature wants... > and learning to adjust,...see if you also feel > better, especially during the > transits, which have been the most troublesome.
