walking on egg-shells, on those days that are like 'pot-holes' on the road, of life...

Jyotish/Astrological Thoughts for the Day....

 

 

Tuesday, January 25th - Monday, January 31st..... 2005

 

 

 

 

General Highlights, This Week:

 

 

 

Waning Moon Cycle continues, now, from Full Moon yesterday....1/25 - Feburary 8th,....New Moon.... Waning Moon cycles, are especially more pronounced during these Winter, Saturn-like periods...

 

See, if the general inwardness of the Waning Moon, seems stronger because it's the Winter time....and cold, anyway....

 

Culminating in New Moon on February 8th......

 

 

Sun continues moving through Capricorn, Sun has moved into Capricorn and moves from the 12th to the 18th.... degrees of Capricorn.

 

This represents some of the strongest degrees of 'Capricorn'ness, because Sun's

moving through the middle degrees,....

 

Use this time, to reflect on how you can make your dreams more manifest,...

for this upcoming year!

 

Mars is still in it's Own Sign Scorpio,..(27th degree of Scorpio - 1st degree of Sagittarius....)

 

Still, good time for Mars, especially because Mars likes being in Sagittarius too.

 

You may notice a slight 'dip' in Marish power during this week, especially as Mars starts it's transition into 'another sign', but Sagittarius energy is also very

good with Mars....

 

Use this time, to 'stand up' for what you believe, but not in too Marish a way!

 

 

Saturn's Retrograde, Motion, now...still

Saturn is still very close to the gap..... of Cancer & Gemini.

 

This week, Saturn's running around the 28th degree of Gemini....

so slightly less 'weird' then last week, when it was right in the gap....

 

Lots of people felt a little weird....

 

On the other hand people have also been feeling better, 'emotionally' because Saturn's no longer in Cancer...

 

We've gotten a bit of a repreive here, from Saturn/Cancer,..... so by May, when Sani, goes back into Cancer, we'll be better prepared,....to follow Saturn's lead,..

and bring...

 

more silence into our emotional or Moon/Cancer......lives...!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tuesday, 1/18/05.... Full Moon's at 4:30am...cst....yesterday....

 

Was a delightful day, yesterday.... Only time of the year, when the Moon's full,

while the Moon's also in it's Own Sign Cancer....

 

Great day, to enjoy, life...

 

In the 'old' days, my Maharishi used to take us out on lake rides, during the Full Moons....

 

That experience has always inspired me to reflect on the full Moons, like yesterday....

 

Hope yours was as nice, too!

 

 

 

Wednesday 1/26..... Moon starts off the day at the 27th degree of Cancer

 

Moon's still awfully big and bright, though now begins the Waning Moon cycle....

 

You may not feel it yet, as the Moon's still verrrry big, and still in Cancer....

 

Later, today, in fact, in about 6 hours from now, Moon moves into Leo...

 

Don't be too pushy, in that 'leoness', especially because Rahu's still in Aries,

meaning it's 5th house aspect into Leo, will be felt, the most.... when the Moon also moves through the 2nd degrees, of Leo....

 

That'll be in about....10pm tonite.... so try and go to bed earlier...and avoid,

under the radar,....Rahu's influence....

 

If you have a restless sleep, this may be why....

 

Rahu, 'they' say, acts like Saturn .....so.... common remedial measures to strengthen Saturn also help with Rahu....

 

o going to bed earlier...

o getting more rest....

o getting more heat in the body,...ie...good Winter...advice too...

o getting more 'oil' into the joints, and body...

o more warm and unctuous foods....(oily).....

 

* For Rahu, especially,....don't follow your desires, sooo much today,...

especially of any 'addictive' or intense quality.....

 

Saturn & Rahu, both get appeased by shooting for more SILENCE....

instead....

 

and the INTEGRATION.... with activity....which is the basis of all fulfillments of desire, anyway....

 

 

 

Thursday, 1/27th...... Moon starts off the day at the 9th degree of Leo.

 

Moon in Leo, represents good times, to lead, to....legislate....to govern,....

to be the organizing ...power....

 

just not to be too bossy, or dictatorial.... or pushy.....

 

Good day, to get things accomplished...and to lead, however....

 

Each hour, now, that the Moon's moving away from Rahu's 2nd degree influence/aspect....will mean if you felt rough last nite, or even this morning,

you'll begin to feel better and better as the day unfolds....

 

 

Friday, 1/28th.......Moon begins at the 21st ..... degree of Leo.

 

Moon begins the last few degrees of Leo, today..... Moon will be moving into Virgo, today, in about 18 hours... so tomorrow you'll begin feeling this shift.

 

Re-read yesterday's transit report, to get up on today's transits....

 

 

 

Saturday, January 29th.... Moon begins the day at the 2nd degree of Virgo.

 

 

Though the Moon/Virgo, sometimes, leans towards more 'critical', and 'blaming' days...either from our side, or others upon us....

 

These days, month and year, because Jupiter's in Virgo too,.... I've noticed these days....where Moon & Jupiter....are conjunct!

or in the same Sign & House....

 

are full of Jupiter's special nature, power and grace....

 

Great, few days to get anything accomplished.....

especially anything to do with needing and or acquiring....more knowledge or Wisdom!

 

Good day, to ask God, Guru,....for more insights!

 

 

Sunday, 1/30th.... Moon starts off the day at the 14th degree of Virgo.....

 

 

Because Jupiter's running about the 24th degree of Virgo, today, Moon

will be getting closer and closer....

 

It's interesting, that when the Moon gets closer and closer to 'malefics' like

Mars, Rahu/Ketu, or Saturn,....even the Sun.... it mostly feels, bizarre, or 'full' of those especially trying, malefic qualities....

 

But, when Moon gets closer to 'benefics' especially Jupiter....wow.... what

light....shinneth..... upon the Earth!

 

Now, if we can only turn all our planets into Benefics!

 

Jupiter now, shows us the way.....!

 

 

 

Monday, 1/31st.. Moon begins at the 27th degree of Virgo, today.

 

So Moon & Jupiter are still very close, today....

 

Jupiter's almost at the 25th degree of Virgo....so..... Moon at the 27th...

is still verryyyyyy wonderfully,....full of Jupiter!

 

Good day today too....

 

and even though the Moon will be moving into Libra, in say, 6 hours, Moon's close proximity to Jupiter (25thdegree), will continue today, as well....

 

We shouldn't get too hung up on the effects of planets ending just because the Moon moves into new signs....

 

The effects of planets also radiate....outward.... like a Sun.... and those effects...

going out, do seem to effect,....degrees....within.... the literal....

 

30 degrees....of the Planet as well....

 

Those 'effects' do sign into the next signs....quite often....

and can be felt....

especially by the Moon!

You were correct, since last 5 or so days, I have been going through a very

terrible phase of life. I haven't experienced it quite this way, before, very unsettling. I think it may be because of Saturn's moving through the 'gap'

between signs, though a thousand times I have tried to make myself calm,

it is not working as well as it used to do. But somehow I'll manage.

 

I hope this will pass soon....

Sometimes, it is our experience that we do feel rough and/or vulnerable

due to negative, exterior forces....

even invading our more peaceful interiors....

 

I find there are 2 ways to view these kinds of Transits....

 

#1....these are like Cosmic storms....that like physical storms.... are predictable...

And being predictable, we adjust, try to plan ahead....and these 'transits' are good for that...

 

#2....However, these more negative transits, are also Nature's way of showing each one of us,....how in-tune or out of tune,...we are with these planets...

 

So, we aspire to be more in-tune....

 

And as we become more and more in-tune, we'll notice the negative effects, less and less....

 

 

That's been my experience....

 

When I first started watching these transits, I noticed way too many more negative, malefic moments then positive!

 

if you know what I mean!,...ehhehe

 

However, by innocenty continuing to watch 'them' more and more....

eventually,...sublte insights started to come...

 

The first 'ones' were surrounding the Moon and the Waning cycle....

 

In the beginning I just felt very rough, and I felt quite alarmed thinking I'd have to feel 'rough' for 2 weeks out of the month, for the rest of my life!

 

But, then I noticed that.... slowly, and yet, perceptively,.... I became aware that this 'Waning' wasn't just an emptying.... but....was also a leaning....

a leaning towards.... less and less..... or rather....a resting....

 

I noticed that my body, too wanted to turn inward,....to be more quiet....

 

So, I thought what the heck, that's what I'll do.....

 

and with each month, that I surrendered more and more to Nature's guidance....

 

Month after month, after month, I began to gradually notice a change....

 

I started to notice that I was beginning to feel more in-tune with 'that' quality

and the grief, the roughness.....started subsiding....

 

That experience has continued to this day.....

 

And has taught me how to aspire to learn how to be more in-tune with each, especially of the more difficult transits...

Yes, it's very strange.. Yesterday I wanted to work on the computer but it kept crashing....again and again....

 

felt somehow cursed....

 

Then, I made a break and went into meditation,....and silence....

 

After that, the computer....worked again!
