Dear Diane,

Just another note to think about: Using KP, your strongest significator for 1H would be Mars in Libra. Do you think that this may be the source of the airiness you speak of? IF this is your correct birth time..

I'm told KP is confusing for new beginners, but I have found this use of looking at the strongest significator for the 1H to be very accurate and helpful.

As your Mars is only minutes into Libra, perhaps this is one of the reasons for the confusion regarding this... I don't know but just my musing on this... I wanted to look at your chart to see why you identified with the airiness you mentioned as we all know ourselves this way usually best, and this Mars in Libra is for the time of 11:48 that you gave. Interestingly, with the earlier time you originally gave, it came out to be Mercury in Libra, so both lead to this same airy sign. With 11:48 as the correct time, you would show more a Mars quality with Libra than a Mercurial one. And of course a more Libra airiness than Aquarius. Do you think this may fit you?

Also using sub lords, and this time of 11:48, Sun is sub lord of your 2H of finances. With Sun as ruler of your 8H and having just today, Sunday, gone into Libra, sign of neecha, perhaps this would indicate the troubles you're experiencing financially.

The current transits may just be showing a lot of changeability in your finances and unstable at this time with both this transit of Sun, as well as your 2H lord Saturn in transit in Moon's house, and also Jupiter, significator as well for finances in Moon's star. Your natal Moon in 12H. There is also a parivartana with current transiting Sun and transiting Venus, with Venus in transit in your 8H. Just a lot of indications for change and fluxations.

**I looked at the description of Capricorn ascendant on there, and theonly way it fits me is if all of the planets aspecting it are weak andafflicted (as seen on the chart lower down in the page). Every singleone of those described my life perfectly. This has not been a funlife - I wonder what in the heck my soul was thinking???More bad news financially for me yesterday. I will now be taking ahit on my income that is around $1,000 less than it used to be. Sincethat is almost half of my income, it is quite likely that I will losemy home in the coming months unless something good happens to turnthat around very quickly!Diane

Dear Patrice,

Thank you for your interpretation and good wishes. I have been so

busy lately trying to find a job as well as doing my current work that

I have not had time to look any further into my chart. Mars in Libra

may contribute to my airiness, but I definitely have Aquarius' love of

freedom and not wanting to be tied down. Just the thought of starting

a job today where I will have specific hours that I have to be there

makes me nauseous! I've worked for myself for so long now that it's

going to be quite difficult, but I've got to pay the bills!

Dear Diane,

It's common to find it can be difficult to view ones chart via Jyotish and the sidereal zodiac if after years of identifying with the tropical zodiac. If this is your correct birth time, and you continue with Jyotish you will see where there are other reasons in Jyotish for what you see in yourself via western astrology. Both have their own things to contribute, to be sure.

As far as "love of freedom and not wanting to be tied down" - this could be due via Jyotish to your Sagittarius Moon ;-)

For your Jyotish D10 chart, which relates to work and career, interestingly you also have a Sagittarius Lagna in that chart.
