Hi friends,

 

I am new in this group (i.E. I joined again after some months). Another try, hehe...

 

I'm living next to Frankfurt, Germany. I am also " on " TM-Sidhi programme (since '97), learning which was the greatest gift in my life.

 

I've been a member of Mark's fabulous Start Report list for one or two years and joined his first online course (medium level) last year. I' interested in Jyotish, because I want to increase my life quality, happiness, relationships... I appreciate those practical aspects, which Mark calls transformative... Well, I'm not so much interested in learning, in book knowledge ;-)), but I especially enjoy Jyotish, when it becomes lively through experiences and through sharing them with friends. This is, why I love Guruji Mark's Natures Astrology, which is very practical. During the last 2, 3 years I found, that Jyotish more and more has become an important part of my life. It's a great luck, that most of my best friends are even more experienced in Jyotish than me, so I could also learn a lot from them.

 

In my opinion, there's another important point of view concerning Jyotish. There are two main aspects in Jyotish: it is both knowledge and technology. The commonly percepted aspects, like understanding, learning, experience..., they all belong to knowledge. But there's another aspect, which is more hidden from view for most of the students (and maybe even for most of the teachers...). This aspect seems to me, is much more powerful, because it works on a most subtle level of consciousness. Practising Jyotish is a technology, a Vedic technology, by which we can bring light (Jyoti) into the dark areas of our life. I have experienced this several times: when I had used Jyotish to focus on any field of my chart/life, there were not only some " aha's " , but somehow these fields of my life became more " fluid " . Kind of automatically, some blockades seemed to be undone. This was not through changing my behaviour because of those aha's, no! It was by mere sending light (consciousness) to those areas. BTW: I had the strongest effects, when I read some original (not Sanskrit, but English) Vedic texts of Parashara. This is why I have put the whole Hora Sastra into the group archive (Eastern%20Astrology/Brihat%20Parasara%20Hora%20Sastra.htm). I wonder whether some of you have similar experiences!?
