Guest guest
Hi Kate, You may use Google, you know :-) Arudha lagna/Lagna pada To find the lagna pada, count houses from rashi lagna to the lord of lagna. Then count the same number of houses forward again, to reach the lagna pada. For example, if lagnesha occupies putra bhava, one must count five houses from lagna to putra. Then, starting in putra, count an additional five houses. Arrive in the 9th house, dharma bhava. Dharma bhava is the arudha lagna. Another example: For Scorpio rising lagnesha is Mars. If Mars occupies the 4th house, start in the 4th house and count 4 more houses to kalatra bhava. Kalatrasthana, or the 7th house, will be the arudha lagna. In this last case the person will have a Taurian appearance, so look at Venus. Hope this helps ; English is not my mother language... Ann PS : the rasi lagna is the natal Ascendant. The chart must be raised as South Indian people use to do, in a square. And you must "read" it clockwise. Hi Ann, Thanks very much for that information. At the present time I am using free online software..so would it be possible to tell me which house I would be looking at and then any clues to find the interpretation?
