Dear Friends:

 

Moon moves towards the end of Exalted Taurus, today!

 

Moon starts off the day at the 23rd degree of Taurus, CDT, so at least 14 more

hours of Exalted Taurus.....

 

 

I always love this time of the Month.

 

Perhaps it's because Jyotish feels the Moon is such a crucial Planet in all of our charts; so knowing what the 'full potential' of the Moon, is like.... seems very important to me.

 

I love these Exalted Moon days, but also enjoy meeting people who have very big Moons in their charts, or Moon's that are in good Signs, Own Signs, or Exalted.

 

The Moon teaches us about the 'mind', the 'feelings', and even 'intuition'.

 

Moon also teaches us about contentment.

 

And though the Moon is predominantly focused in an outer direction, the Moon can also function in an inner direction.

 

Someone, once said, that, " Enlightenment is when the mind shines 100% in an outer direction, and 100% in an inner direction, ... at the same time. "

 

I love this expression, because I think it aptly expresses the potential of the Moon, and because I think it's true.

 

For a long time, it frustrated me, because the Moon seemed so changeable, and I couldn't understand how it could be a symbolism for contentment and happiness.

 

Then one day, kind of like now, when the Moon was less then 1/2 full, I was looking at it, and feeling the obvious, lessening of Moon power, .... but then I noticed;.... 'wait a minute, it never stops really being full!'....

 

Look at the Moon if you can over the next few days, before the New Moon, on August 15th at 8pm.... ....

 

And see if you can see that 'ring' of the Moon, which is really there in spite of the Moon's obvious Waning...at the same time...

 

Now, I realize this is Enlightenment.... cognizing the inner, non-changeing aspect of the Moon, or mind, and at the same time, being fully aware of all the changeable aspects of life......too.....

 

Another great quote for Enlightenment, is that the mind, (and here I'm substituting the Moon), is like a 'lamp at the door'.....

 

It shines....outside, and illuminates...the outer...

and at the same time, it shines inside,....and illuminates the inner!

 

So, important is the very nature of the Moon!

 

Become like the Moon....

always full....

and learn to flow with it's Wanings & Waxings....

 

This is a great Jyotish Remedy for the Moons, actually,

is to be more in tune with those Waxing & Waning cycles....

 

Then, you'll notice the Moon shining, brighter,....within!

and without!

 

 

Only thing to watch:

 

Mercury went 'Retrograde' (tonight), Monday, at 8pm.... though it'll probably still not be quite apparent, for a few days....

 

But, if you start to feel, confused, or foggy, or have a hard time making clear decisions; this Retrograde motion is why.

 

And Retrograde, is about the need to 'rest' that Planet which is moving backwards; so if you take more time, to think things through....

and not to rush....

things should be fine.

Then, things should start taking a progressively

positive turn!

 

If you've been watching the Stock Markets, you'll really get a sense,

how powerfully, Jupiter & Saturn influence progress & prosperity.

 

Last few days, the US market has been down a little, and up a little.

Today, (Monday), Dow was down just a little!

And that's exactly been my experience during the last days!

 

The trick just seems to be,....

not to complain about,

not to judge,

cause it's just a neutral natural law -

Shani is here to sharpen our discrimination.

What we experience as pain, in reality it's just a sign showing 'you've

left the right path " , ie. " you've left your inner SELF " .

 

And you mentioned another aspect of Shani, that I'm hopeing to realize,

to understand: " not this time " .

I couldn't have said it better myself!,

hehehe

 

These are good thoughts, especially since Sani's casting such a direct

influence upon Jupiter.

 

Earlier this spring, and summer, not only was Saturn still influencing

that Jupiter, but Rahu was too.

 

During that experience, however, Jupiter was at least able to influence

back, to Rahu.

 

Giving as well as it was getting!

 

But, now, only Saturn is influencing, and Jupiter's just running,

delayed...

frustrated.....

 

I also find this time very interesting, because after watching the Transits,

for so long, I can really, 'feel' these transits,....

and that allows me to like you said:

let go, much more easily.

 

Then, after I do that, things immediately settle down, and even start

to move, forward!

 

This is probably one of the most difficult aspects of Jyotish:

 

How to live the positives, of both Saturn & Mars!

 

Saturn teaches us balance, rest, patience, and poise, while

Mars teaches us about dynamism, effort, activity, and perseverance! "
