I don't understand why the Moon in Scorpio is a bad sign. Scorpio is a water sign, right?

 

dear Anne: Jyotish makes many kinds of observations and opinions, regarding Astrological configurations.

 

As for the Moon, it's thought to be 'malefic' in Scorpio, because though Scorpio is supposed to be a water sign, yet, it's nature, is so Marish, that the Moon is thought to be unhappy in that fiery sign.

Think of Moon & Scorpio, as two different natures. Moon is soft, and sweet, careing and compassionate....

 

And the reason why it's 'difficult' in Scorpio, is because the intensity of Scorpio, .... is not well suited for the Moon.

 

However, Scorpio is very happy with Mars, on the other hand.

 

This is because there two nature's are so much more similar, that there's not any internal discord.

 

Also, don't feel bad because you have any weakness or malefic in your charts.

 

Everyone has them. The key, is to learn and grow in the direction that Jyotish suggests....and the result will be more happiness and success, in life!

Your direct perception will help you understand why. That 'irritableness', and 'anger'.... shows the quality of Marish Scorpio, which is so 'opposite'.... to the Moon, that upsetness and imbalance ... in the Moon/Mind.... results!

In most cases, .....balancing .... that undue, pitta, or fiery imbalance.... will help diminish....and decrease.... this Moon/Scorpio....quality....
