Hi Arthyr and Bettina,

I have only heard from it recently also, so I am quite new to this also. It is a form of astrology which also combines the antroposofic ideas of Rudolph Steiner and astrology. Antroposophy is an alternative way of living, which has also roots in theosophy, which is also linked to the rosicrucian. Ofcourse this explaination is too rough because each of these philosophies went their own way. Specific for astrosophy is that the development of the soul is symbolised in all zodiacal signs. Steiner tried to combine his philosophical theories with science and astronomy too. I have found an excellent article in Dutch and which I may translate lateron. I have also started to read about antroposophy and the stages of the soul. I think before starting to explain anything about astrosophy it may be better to read a bit about anthroposophy to understand the connection better. It is merely that I am very interested in antroposophy, because of my good experiences of my treatment lately that I became very curious about astrosophy. I can surely tell you more about it as soon as I have obtained the book of Willi Sucher.

I assume that the group I have created will not grow extremely hard, but I will try to contact Master Marcel Fontijn via the Dutch antroposofic magazine. He may have some valuable tips, litterature, workshops for me that I can share. I will ask him to do my horoscope..I don't expect that there will be extremely much discussions, but since I could not find any discussiongroup, and there may be a few other astrosophy-interested people around, I surely would like to create any space to gather information about it, especially because it is so special and I like special things. In the meanwhile I continue gathering information, books, workshops about both astrosophy and Jyotish, because this Nature's Astrology forum is a great place to compare all kinds of astrology. I would be very glad to share my findings with interested people here on the forum, because it will improve everybody's insights. Hooray for the internet ;-)

It is such a pity that all these interesting things are scattered: shreds are found back in antroposofic rituals, without people understanding why they do it and where it comes from. Most of antroposofic people haven't even read Steiner. (I must admit, that I have not read much of him yet, but I have read some about antroposophy: yes the problem with me is that I am interested in a lot of things, and wish I could read 100x as fast as I can, but yes I am reading, also about Jyotish...)

I think there must be a link with Jyotish here: Karmic astrology is better explained by Sutton than by Schulman, according to my opinion. In his article Fontijn talked about Schulman and did not mention Jyotish, however I think that Jyotish could be an interesting point of view to be compared with astrosophy.

I agree wholeheartly with that. It is always interesting to get started and to get fresh ideas. I will try to post interesting findings also.

That was the period when I had antroposofic therapy.

Greetings,

Anne
