Guest guest
Mark: Could you explain the significance of " stationary Moon's nodes " (Rahu- Ketu)? Some Vedic astrologers seem to emphasize this phenomenon, but I can't find any source that explains the nature of the nodes being stationary. An example is that this year, the Moon's nodes were stationary Mar 20-Jun 4 at 17 degrees Aries-Libra. Again from Sept 12-Nov 25, the nodes will be stationary at 8 degrees Aries-Libra. Otherwise they seem to move quickly except for these stations. What causes the stations? Are they tied to the eclipses? What is the significance of the stations in Jyotish?
