I find your daily observations on the Moon transit and other transits quite interesting. Also, I feel these observations come out of a good amountof experience and learning. Could you tell us how you got interested in Vedic astrology and how did you learn it, if you dont mind.

Dear Sanjit:

 

I am a student of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's. I've been practicing meditation since the early 1970's....and have been studying many of the other Vedic Sciences as well.

 

In 1988, for example, while attending an Ayurvedic course in India, I got my first exposure to Vedic Astrology or Jyotish.

 

I had grown up in Western Astrology and found the Eastern system very fascinating....

 

Since 1988, I have been studying Jyotish but from the point of view of what we can say:

'The development of Consciousness'....

 

In other words, Knowledge is different in different states of Consciousness.

 

Especially, something Vedic like Jyotish, is different if you take into account all the ideas

and ramifications of the development of Consciousness.

 

For example the most concrete example of this has been the Realization of the real, powerful,

'Transformative' Power of Astrology.... that exists in Jyotish but which has not been widely practiced.

 

I have enjoyed also an amazing 'blending', or 'mixing' of the Best, of Western & Eastern systems.
