Guest guest
Hello People, I just finished an intensive fulltime treatment for my burn out at a quiet almost sacred antroposofic clinic in the Netherlands, with a typical organic style design. (www.lievegoedgroep.nl). I am so enthusiastic about the different treatments, inspiring life visions and HSP friendly environment that it would be almost a crime not to share some of my experiences with you. I have noticed that I met a lot of high sensitive and high educated people, who specifically choose for the antroposofic way. What is the antroposofic way you may think. It is an alternative lifestyle based on holistic philosophy (linke to theosophy) and implemented in daily life. There are many idealists who share the same vision as Rudolph Steiner did in the beginning of the previous century. It would be too much to explain the whole philosophy behind the antroposofic movement, but some keywords are respect for humans, animals and plants. (I could tell you more, please feel free to ask) This shows also the way they treat you: as a human being, not as a number. The treatment of patients is different than in another clinic. My burn out was not only treated with rest and psychological conversations on how to deal more efficiently with your life, but I was also offered soothing massages, art therapy, philosophical/spiritual miniclasses, singing and eurithmics (an art where letters are expressed in movements in order to see any unconscious blockages). Food is also a central point so that was also super healthy bio-dynamic (is how we call it in the Netherlands). Funny how my HSP-ness was also discovered on a physical base by my phisician and eurithmist. They both saw that I was too open: too vulnerable. My skin was too soft according to the physician and my movements were not limited enough. I will continue with eurithmics in an antroposofic centre in my new place and I had to rub my thighs with arnica oil and I was given a massage with rosemary-oil to close better. I also had antroposofic medicine: quartz to integreate better with my body and to get me to live more into the here and now and not somewhere in the clouds. I also had to swallow magnesium phosphor to close better, be less vulnerable to outside overwhelmings. Anne
