Guest guest
Hi Bettina: I have never heard of " cazimi, " but Venus and Sun will be within about 3 degrees of NT Rahu, so that may be " cazimi " for me of some sort!! I'm inclined to " watch " this transit and to observe its effects on me, as Mark usually suggests in his replies and as I tend to do naturally. I do think the " rare occurence " of this transit is significant, whether positive or negative I don't have an exact sense of except I feel intuitively that there may be something in the prophecies that are related to it as the pralaya of a passing age and the birth of a new one in 2012. I'm not sure that what is/or is not happening physically with the rare Venus transit excludes the fact that there may be something esoterically significant about it (i.e., planetary combustion happens regularly such as a new moon solar eclipse, and this is like a new venus eclipse, except its cycle takes 8 years to complete as opposed to the cycles of the eclipses which repeat at different intervals; but the repetition of the eclipses at certain points or intervals is supposedly astrologically significant , and I was trying to find out if there was some comparable significance to this event). Guest guest
I agree with Mark that the natural lovingness of Venus will be overshadowed= by egoistic (Sun) selfishness but that those who hold that awareness can affirm on a conscious level the positive Venusian qualities that are presen= t but cyclically submerged in the Sun's shadow. I think it will take a conscious = effort on the part of individuals to bring the shadow to the light of the collecti= ve consciousness in the eight-year cycle from 2004 to 2012.
