Guest guest
Dear Janna: I think the way it will play out with people, is they'll start to feel a kind of 'pinch' on the level of the heart... And like the New Moon, where the inner feelings start to feel, empty, or lonely,....most will start projecting onto their spouses, or feeling woe, due to not having a spouse or partner... So, it's quite a wonderful thing to begin to understand that many of these 'feelings', are Astrological in nature, and do not mean what we normally think they do. We're in this interesting malefic time between Jupiter, Rahu, & Saturn...and Mars & Saturn... so in contemplating maleficness.... I begin to understand that these 'malefic' times, have several puposes... #1...they represent our karmic periods, where we get to see the effects of our individual, and collective, (whole Earth's) actions... This is a very intimate part of what the Universe 'does'.... We act, the Universe, records, and sends back to us....'Cosmic feedback' as to our actions. This is how Evolution happens, we act, feel to do this or that...even though most of the time, we do what we think is right and nature reacts....letting us know, how 'she' feels about it! We're going too fast, and though we feel we need to go that speed, but then we have an accident... And maybe it's not even Nature that's causing us our accident.... But, it's within Nature that we discover, that we were indeed, going too fast... Like that...All Malefic moments have hidden and mysterious, though very personally unique meanings for all of us... Venus malefic moments, have to do with the heart, especially the expressive heart... So, how we feel about our 'love'.... How loving we are.... These realities, get tested in Venus moments... If we're fairly strong in our internal, love...then this transit will not be too bad. If however, like a Moon & Saturn, transit of today..... in fact.... If we're not well enough established in our internal...Moonish...fullness.... then, the Saturn/Moon transit can 'make' us feel rough or empty.... So, we might consider this upcoming Venus time as a test of our internal lovingness.... And, if we feel, loss, or grief, or lack of love.... we can instead of blaming... we can settle deeper inside...and finding that true, lasting love.. of the divine.... there find the true fulfillment of all of Venus' hopes for us... Fun to talk about... Getting to this point...in life, is one of the most glorious aspects I've ever experienced.... take care Mark K. Since I'm not an astronomer, it's often hard to visualize the planets behind, in front of, in between Earth and the Luminaries, , etc. And it makes sense that Venus' natural attributes will be " eclipsed " on June 8. I wonder how this will play out, perhaps a global heart contraction or more inner nurturing? I plan to observe it inwardly, Here's a really spectacular view of stars, galaxies, nebulas, etc. that I think every star person will like to see: http://wires.news.com.au/special/mm/030811-hubble.htm Janna http://seven_directions.tripod.com/ , " Mark Kincaid " <m.kincaid@m...> wrote: > Dear Jana & All: > > This is an interesting Transit & question. > > When you calculate a Jyotish chart for this day, June 8th.... > > Venus & the Sun are only 1 degree apart! > > So, major Venus combustion, means Venus is indeed extremely > close to the Sun. > > And... > Retrograde, means it's as if going backwards from the point of > view of the Earth...so Venus...is literally.... > > going inbetween the Earth and the Sun..... > > If it was Combust but going direct, then, Venus would be on the > other side of the Sun in it's orbit around the Sun. > > I've seen pictures of this Venus/Sun conjunction....where they > visulaize Venus, literally, in front of the Sun, which is supposed to > be unique and different from the normal Retrograde & combust > transits of Venus which happen fairly often. > > I think the uniquenss of this transit, is in the literal, angle of > Venus' combustion. > > And yes, this is very similar to the New Moon, of the Moon, which > is the period of combustion between the Moon & Sun. > > When the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun, it represents > the natural resting period of the Moon's cycles. > > So, perhaps, the nature of combustion of other planets is similar > to this. > > In the case of Venus, we can expect that the natural > significations or attributes of Venus will be eclipsed by the Sun. > > Think of Venus as a bright candle, which radiates out, the > importance of the heart, feelings and expressive love. > > Well, during this combustion, that, Venus candle, will be > surrounded by a huge ball of Sun light which will completely > wash out Venus' smaller rays. > > So, expect a lack of Venus power during this time. > > Though this is exactly the same situation with the Moon when it > is a New Moon. > > The Moon may be resting, but it's natural attributes too are the > least strong during this time. > > Finally, let's look and see if we can experience personally, the > qualities and realities of this transit. > > Look and see how you 'feel' as this transit comes,...and then > goes. > > Our subjective experiences are a wonderful tool, to be able to > verify the validity of the rules and principles of Jyotish... > > take care, > > Janna... > > > Mark Kincaid > > > > > > > > In , " Janna Lynn " > <jnanalynn> wrote: > > Dear Mark and other List Astrologers: > > > > I have not seen much from a sidereal perspective on the > Transit of Venus > > June 8.
