The intimate connection I was referring to with TM and Jyotish is how the outcome can be experieced differently as result of influenceing the situation. Guest guest
I'm in Sani Sati right now, have been for approx 5 yrs, and it hasn't been any worse than any other time in my life. Isn't that when Saturn is 45 degs approaching and 45 degs. leaving the degree of the natal Moon? I noticed that when Venus reaches it's station after having gone retrograde, it will be closely cnj my Moon. Does anyone know what that might portend? I've always found that stationary planets are powerful when aspecting natal planets by transit. We can be a little bit happy that when Mars and Saturn are cnj later this month they'll both be direct. Yikes! They'll both be on my natal Saturn and 3 degs from my asc. I'll keep everyone posted. .... Firstly being a TM Teacher, I am obligated to say I am a student of Jyotish. I am not a jyotishee by profession, and the TM organization does have a formal consultation service available. The structure of this service is such that they will do your chart, but it must also be accompanied by the birth info of the following living relatives: Mother, Father, siblings, mother's brother, and grandparents. I may have missed some. If you are interested in this service, you can go to TM.org , then look for Jyotish and follow the links. I believe the reason why they want the relatives info is this is also a consideration for your own chart, since blood relatives have quite a bit of influence on you. Furthermore, the more significant part of jyotish is to avert the danger that has not yet come. Prior to periods which may be predicted as less than comfortable, there are recommendations prescribed to have a counter influence effect, and even an effect and experience of Bliss for the recipient. IN short, some of the recommendations which are prescribed to create this counter effect are to learn the TM program, have yagyas done on your behalf, which can be described as favorable influences created for you by experts referred to as Pundits or vedic engineers. There are many other counter balancing effects you can create for yourself such as the use of recommended gems, good habits and food in life, and on and on. Having said the above, I can give my opinions based on information passed on to me from books and association with a jyotishee. This is a possibility that I am making an error, and I am expressing the views of the Jyotishee I know, these views may differ from one jyotishee to the next. I have heard of a consideration of 45 degrees on either side of the natel moon having saturn. This can be a consideration for effects like sadesati, and if you use different charts such as Bhava equall or Bhava Sri pati, you can come up with sadesati as you described, however, the significant consideration for satisade is simple- when Shani (saturn) is transiting in the 12th, 1, or 2cd house from your natel moon, this is sadesati. There is another consideration which can be as strong or stronger than sadesati which is called Daiya (defined as 2 1/2 years) where saturn is transiting 4 and 8 away from the moon. Determing effects of sadesati is a matter of the condition of saturn in the chart, and the overall chart, acording to the jyotishee. Fyrthermore, his comments about the effects in a chart are the dasa periods running are about 80%, and the transits 20%. I think the most significant interest is saturn, rahu, ketu and juiter since they are slow moving. This is all I have time to write at the moment. Guest guest
Thanks, Ron. I always figure I've survived life thus far, and I'll keep on surviving it till I die. My natal Saturn's pretty good (although it's on the asc) as it rules 9th and is in the sign of a friend and its dispositor is exalted. It isn't afflicted by any other planets, save for a backwards sq. of the Sun. .... Bettina it is probably something like that if you are not feeling very heavy with sadesati, but yuu did indicate some things sadesati is 12,1, and 2 from moon, daiya is 4 and 8 from moon , but then you can also look at shani in every other place anyway. It doesn;t have to be grief, it can be a good experiece, but it can be grief. I like the idea of considering a whole chart and not pieces, also considering Bhava chart, moon, sun, navamsa, charts, condition of sun, moon , 1,5,9th house, etc Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at HotJobs http://hotjobs.sweepstakes./careermakeover
