Malefic Planets for a native - Understanding the transits persona lly

Mark,

Can you share your insights on the following points.

Each planet has specific natural significations.

With respect to the natal chart of a native, the same planets become

lord/signifactors of specific houses/bhava's.

Suppose if mercury becomes my 2th lord, he has specific

significations of family happiness, speech, wealth etc etc...

Let me call them the specific significations of these platnets for a

native.

The specific significations bestowed by a planet change for every

native.

Is my understanting valid so far ?

Yes, this is the traditional view of Jyotish.

However there's another level which I like to recomend to people....

And that is to consider, perhaps, that even so-called negative houses, might also have positive qualities...

6th House for example may also just as importantly represent....Health! ...and not ill-health..

and the

8th House, not just chronic problems, addicitons, and death!

but 8th House might be considered the House of 'transformations' and the House of Eternity, or Immortality...

and finally 12th House....the House of Enlightenment....and Self-Realization....

Because,

there are many examples of people who have the Lords of those houses, either in their Own Signs..or even Exalted....

and then, often, the positive significations of those Houses, show up!

If so,

Regarding the planetary transits news letter you write, at a

holistic level the natural significations of planets can be

understood and felt by all individuals commonly.

If i want to intrepret and relate to them personally, i will have to

understand the specific significations of these planets also. How

they affect me?

Yes, this is true....

And I've tried to tell people, to look at the transits through their own charts, and rising signs..

but the format doesn't allow to go into the transits for each sign...

but, maybe someday, especially if there's more interest....

To understand this we need to understand how strong or weak a planet

is for a specific native wrt his natal chart.

How much percentage a planet is giving Ista and Kasta phala

(favourable and unfavourable results)

Yes, here too I agree....

But there's also a much more important area of life.....and Jyotish....

and that is it's really, also possible...to do something to literally....

strengthen and improve the functioning of our Planets!

I have read many article and every person has his own way of

determining the strenght of planets for a native from his natal chart.

Can you share your framework of thought as to how you determine the

strenght of planets for a specific native from his natal chart ?

All the normal ways apply....

Rules & Principles of analysing the Birth chart....

including the House rulerships...

However, there's also the sub-charts...which also shed light on the relative strengths of each Planets...

How to order the 9 planets in descending order of their strenght or

friendlieness to a native from his natal chart postions..

You see, my objective is to intrepret and understand the influence

of transits more personally...

In my Jyotish classes, I go into some very good ways of making the transits, and especially, our own charts more personally....

We need to learn to 'feel' the stars, and our charts.....

And once we do, Jyotish/Astrology can come alive for us!

I'll announce my next Jyotish courses, soon,.... either in late May or early June...

For this we need to understand the planetary nature (benefic /

malefic) (natural and specific significations) specifically to a native.

Please respond if you find my understanding valid.

The only thing that's really missing, is the fact,...that analysis or Understanding as to our charts, the fact that there is this amazing 1 to 1 correspondence between our lives...and our charts..

is not only not the whole Jyotish!

It's only 1/2 of Jyotish...

and!!

It's not even the more important part...

there's the very important aspect of Jyotish Transformation....

and that is how can we literally, change, improve and transform....our Planets!

This is the most important part of jyotish...

and to me, is the essene of my Jyotish/Astrology....

take care

Mark K.

Thanks & Regards

And don't forget malefics do well and are well placed in malefic houses,

making that house stronger in a positive way.

The 8th is also a very occult house, so a good link here can make one a

tarot reader or an investigator of life's deeper meanings - it carries

something of the flavour of Scorpio.
