Well, today was one of the most intense days I've experienced in awhile.

I don't know what your weather was where you live, but here, in this small town in midwestern US, (fairfield, Iowa), it was dark, and gloomy, still, like an ominous storm is coming....

And it helped knowing, remembering that the Sun was so close to Rahu, yesterday, today, and tomorrow....(Sunday)...

So, again... we have another day...of Rahu/Sun...alert....

Next 2 day's....Rahu Alert!

If you feel, however, good, then go with that....

But, if you feel that ache in the heart, that comes so often and regularly for at least 1 or 2 day's of the month when the Moon movs across the nodes; Rahu or Ketu, then....this warning will be well spent....

This too will pass!

" Dear Mark, " What a relief to read about all that is happening in the sky right now. I have been away and distracted from my astrology for a few weeks and I can tell you I have been miserable.

I keyed in today to get your report and was more than reassured that I hadn't personally lost my mind!

Yesterday, was really a deep low. The day consisted of me being personally attacked against my person. It was so

bad that I have been having conversations with myself wondering if I need to rethink who I am!!!

I read your report and NOW understand. I believe I now, have a good chance of regaining a sense of my composure and security just by reading 'this too shall pass'', THANKS! "

" Dear Dot: " Your experience reminds me so much of my very earliest experiences in watching these transits.

So, often in fact every week, I felt similarly. All that had to happen was for the Moon to be Waning, and especially

when it got closer and closer to the Sun, (New Moon), I felt lost, sad, even depressed. Then, I noticed I often felt weird, whenever the Moon collided with malefics; Mars, Saturn, Rahu or Ketu.

Then, slowly, almost imperceptibly, each time, when I saw the 'Astrological' reason why I might feel like this or that; it did sort of help.

It does help knowing there is a logical, predictable reason 'why' we're going through what we go through.

And this is the essence of the entire FIRST HALF OF JYOTISH/ASTROLOGY. Our lives, fit our charts, for better or for worse.

But, then, I thought, surely, there's something I can do to better prepare for these regular, repeated, calamaties, that will surely come again and again.

Then, I started to explore some of the more obvious 'symbolisms', of each configuration.

For me, the Moon & Saturn were the most troublesome.

So, I started there. I noticed that, #1, I really did 'feel' that inwardness and outwardness of the Moon's cycles.

Later it occured, 'wow, maybe there's some 'meaning' here for me,...and for others.

First I noticed, the nature of the change,.... I did really feel more Inward....during the Wanings and more Outward during the Waxings...

And because of my meditation background, and learning how rest is the basis of activity; I thought, 'wow, maybe this is like the giant rest period of the Month?

Could that be possible?

I know there's a rest period of each day, ....so maybe it's not so strange to think in terms of the whole Month.

And after a few months of innocently leaning in those directions....

For the first time, in a looooonnnnng time, I started to feel better!

I felt more at ease, more settled, and I felt more safe.

Though I'm sure I thought I was mood-making in the beginning, but each month that I live, now, and innocently

follow the signals of my body, echoing or reflecting from the Moon and the Stars...

I feel better!

So, now, let's try and figure out what is Nature trying to tell us about the Nodes, Rahu & Ketu?

As we've talked before, all the transits, are reflective of 'karma', how we're doing with this or that Planet, which

do represent all the different parts of ourselves.

So, Rahu and Ketu?

They represent the 'desire', 'libido', 'compulsive', 'addictive' parts of us....

especially, the simple desire aspects of our natures....

which have gotten all 'out of control'.....

So, these Rahu symbolisms teach us what happens when, in the search for life and fortune.....

we've gotten absorbed, lost or identified to...desires, alone.

Our lives, get lost, chaotic, and identified with matter, and chaos.

Desires are okay, they're really an intimate part of life and progress and liberation.

However, if they get .... all complicated, overwhelming, lost to themselves....

then we loose the center, the inner reason why we're doing this...

and only the 'doing, of this or that'.....remains...

Hence, Rahu's the planet of compulsions, and addictions....

So, Rahu moments like these, are meant to #1, give us a picture, of the consequences of such lost thinkings, and mis-behavings...

And they're also here to show us .....how by taking a little bit more time, to be more inner based, and not lost to the outer...

Then, we can achieve what we want, that's such a natural part of our lives....but not at the expense... of identification,

and misery..... "
