Hi Morgana, There's no need to use those very anti-intuitive square charts. I draw all my Vedic charts in the circular form (most of the computer programs do this also), and then the house placements will be almost the same as the western charts. If you use equal house (I do...), just keep in mind that the cusp is the *center* of the house rather than the beginning. This post was long--long--long--long! We'd better all start to delete old letters when we reply to a post. This post had about 100 other letters attatched to it from one person replying to another person replying to another person....etc. There are so many posts in the last two days that I'd love to reply to, but there's just no time. I like them ;-) I use the north Indian diamond and it now feels very intuitive, though it didn't to begin with...but that's just me, awkward to the last LOL!
