Moon Moves to the Beginning of Gemini, today....

(6 degrees)

Transits

Dear Friends:

Today, represents a very interesting shift from this amazing, sweet, feeling nature of Taurus, to the intellectual, cerebral, linear quality of Gemini.

Of course, devoid of emotion and feeling does not stop, only the 'flavor' of Gemini is very different.

You'll also notice that the 'intensities' of the last few days will begin to subside a little because the Moon's not so directly, 'squished', between Rahu, Mars & Saturn....

Each day now, as the Moon continues to move away, again from these 'malefic' influences, the more light hearted quality of the Moon, especially Waxing, and especially Waxing during an Exalted Sun, Month....

will be more pronounced....

Wait till the Moon moves into Cancer in a few days and moves through it's Own Sign of Cancer, and this Month, Year, there are 'no',....yes, that's a 'NO!'

quality of malefic influences upon the Moon or Cancer!

Today, the Moon's beginning it's Monthly movement through Gemini.....

It will feel 'better' because it's not caught up, quite so 'tight', between Rahu & Mars....

but Gemini also has Saturn in it, and though at 14 degrees of Gemini, still, Moon's starting off at 6 degrees means the Moon will be coming under Saturn's 'effects'....

We've been talking about this transit for a number of month's, now...so today

let's propose, taking a few steps, to minimize....this or any potentially, malefic effects....

If Saturn is acting Malefically in your Chart, you'll be prone to experience the qualities, of frustration, delays, heaviness, sadness, even depression, especially as the Moon gets closer and closer to Saturn's exact degrees...

Moon's at 6 degrees, 9am cst....and

Saturn's at 14 degrees....at 9am ....

So, because the Moon moves 1 degree, approximately every 2 hours, there maximum, 'conflicting', collision, will be in 16 hours...(8 degrees x 2 = 16hrs)..

But, if you find yourself... experiencing any of Saturn's 'malefic' effects,

make a great Sani, experiment....

Take a different tact....

Especially if you encounter any resistance or delaying qualities....

today, make this experiment...

o let go of the expectation that you 'should' have this or that....come faster....

o let go of the desire for something to develop faster....

and

o allow yourself to be more in the flow....

Pretend you're like in traffic, and you're going at a certain speed, and 2 cars,

suddently turn into your lane, and of course they're going slower, then you are!

Normally, we get a bit frustrated, look around for some ways to get around them, even thinking if there might be some other streets to take....to avoid,...

their, 'slowing'....effects....

But, then, we remember, 'Oh, right, today's the day when Moon's colliding with Saturn....'

'This is predictable, and I'm going to try that Jyotish/Astrological.... experiment where I'm going to let go of my predominance of going that speed, and 'adjust'.....and allow myself to go slightly slower!

See, if this doesn't have an amazingly positive effect on your day, even enjoyment of this Moon/Gemini...and Moon/Saturn....couple of day's.....

This is what Saturn's always trying to teach us,....

o When we should be going slower....and

o Once we learn to go slower, be more still, or silent, within....

Then, everything smooth's out, feel's more wonderful and funnily enough find's us arriving at the goal more quickly!

I remember the story of the tortoise and the hare, when I find myself reflecting on the 'wiles' of Saturn....

The tortoise and the hare start the race at the same time....

Imagine it, a very slow, methodical, tortoise, starting ahead,....

and the hare, bursting forth,...phewwwww......

and before you notice it he's a mile down the road....

the tortoise....left in his dust....

He looks back and smiling, thinks, that tortoise, he's so far behind, he'll never catch up.... so he stops....slows down,....takes a break....

and before you know it...he gets distracted.....

and after awhile...the ever slow, crippling slow,....tortoise...

crawls..up to where he was....

and finding the hare fast asleep by the road.....

continues along his way.....

Soon, the tortoise crosses the goal line...

the hare....feeling something....wakes up.....

and to his amazement....realizes he's lost the race!

" How could this possible have happened! " he says.....

How many times have we all experienced.....trying to go fast....and sometimes, Nature just doesn't seem to be supporting....

And we stumble into a more settled, almost even, rhythmic pace,...and we get ahead, get what we want,....fulfill our desires....

but, just not at the speed in which we thought....

But, we giggle, when we realize...like that wonderful Saturn, tortoise,....

We one the Race!

April 24th... so Moon's 5 days, now after the New Moon...

(2 day's away from being 1/2 Full!)

Lots of people are experiencing the frustrating, repercussions of Mercury's Retrograde, motion....

Allow yourself, therefore, more time, to 'think', 'decide',...

and 'do'!

Retrograde lasts until April 30th.....

o Mercury's Combustion...Now Over!, so...that particular flavor of the Sun, being sooo bright, that the significations of Mercury....had gotten lost....

is now diminishing....

Sun's 11:00 degrees of Aries... and!!!!

Mercury's R & C.....= 28 degrees, also in Pisces!

Sun & Mercury are 13 degrees apart, so if you feel a definite lessening of this Mercurial confusion.....

Though, now....Mercury's also slipped back into Pisces, where it's in a very

confusing Sign....

but at least it's not combust!

o Mercury ends it's Retrograde motion on April 30th!!!

Ahbhhh!...Eureka!

o Jupiter's also Still,.....Retrograde now, till....May 5th....

!!!!

Think of Retrograde motion, not just as weak, or dysfunctional...

but think of it as ...

'Resting...'

therefore, we don't jump up from sleep and start running around...

take more time, to use that Mercury, and also, this.....

Jupiter...

They're a little sluggish, right now...

but soon...

things will shift.....

Think of Jupiter's Retrograde motion as a kind of 'resting' of it's more normal, ever pulsating, progressive, expansive nature....

Sometimes, Nature wants to 'rest' this or that....

Enjoy this resting....

After May 5th...look out, it'll be 'showtime!'......

o Jupiter's goes Direct! after....May 5th....

o Venus is still in Taurus, ....today, at 23 degrees... So 7 more degrees of

Venus being in it's Own Sign and stronger now.... Available for our

benefit.....

o Mars is still in Taurus too, today at....28 degrees.... So, notice a kind of

passionate quality right now...due to Mars & Venus being close,... even

within 30 days will reflect that passion.

My Mother had Mars & Venus 1 degree apart in her chart....and had 6 kids!

" Dear Sally: " Your experience, though uncomfortable, is a very good, potentially, ..... Jyotish/Astrological experience. You're experiencing this 'rage', this 'fire', this 'heat'....

And because you've learned to look into your chart, dasas or transits,.... (Well done, by the way!).....

You might remember what we've been saying regarding the Moon's transit through Taurus, 'might' be adversely effected by Mars' presence in Taurus, as well!

And wow, you experienced that!

So, #1, we've found the Astrological source of our grief, now....your next question?

What can I do about it?

Great question..... Mars tends to blame 'others', the 'outer', for it's feelings of roughness, anger, and upsetness.....

but we're beginning to learn from Jyotish, the true, source of our 'griefs'....

So, we take some steps to, as Ayurved would say,.....steps to diminish pitta!

Pitta, is the fieryness of the body, and life.

We need it. Mars rules our fire!

So, we need it for movement, for expression, for eating!

for being firm....and getting ahead....

but when overly 'hot'....we feel burnt up....

These last 2 days of Mars' overheated quality....is like an 100 degree day even in the Summer, it's too hot!

So, cool drinks, more shade, cool towel to the back of the head....

Let go of what you thought you wanted to experience....

Jyotish/Astrology....teaches us how to function...and flow...and even, Suceed! in Life..........

due to learning how to be more In-tune with Nature....

versus ..... fighting ....Mother Nature.... or not being aware of her....rhythms....and cylces....

I was always very surprised by this statement.

In my own life, the thing, (well at least pre-Jyotish!, hehe)...

the thing that had the most powerful, holistic change and improvement

in my life, was the experience of Meditation,

and the subsequent growth of Consciousness.

Now, after meditating regularly each day, at least twice a day,

for over 34 years, (since 1970),

I'm still amazed, each and every day, the inner light, clarity of mind,

inner joy, that increases with each day's opportunity to have experience...

of the transcendental field....

But, there's this quote, " Knowledge is the Greatest Purifier. "

And I have to say, especially since studying Jyotish, which represents not just

the Philosophy of Life, Consciousness, the Mind, Personality, and Physiology....

but....

it also contains so many wonderful, 'packets of wisdoms', expressions, opinions,

judgements, or maybe better to say, 'discriminations'.....

that now,

I understand....that expression...

" Knowledge is the greatest Purifier. "

to me, means...

each day, as I get another glorious day, to swing in the unbelievable joys

of expression, communicating, and sharing in the process....

of Pure Knowledge.....flowing!

I feel enlivened, inspired....and very, very happy!
