Guest guest
Dear Anne & All: thanks for sending me this list.... Now, what I think I'd like to see, is a more specific, renderings....of how the partiucular nakshatras, more accurately,....help us understand...our chart placements... Because I understand the relevance... Take 3 different people who all have the Moon in Cancer in their charts.... Well, for most people it's enough to just describe the qualities of the Moon in Cancer, but as we advance...we begin to notice a very strong difference between those who are born in the beginning of a Sign, which represents one Nakshatra, in the middle which represents another...and there may even be a 3rd...at the end of the nakshatra... Generally, there are 2 1/2 nakshatras for each sign.... so 12 X 2.5 = the 27 nakshatras.... But, there isn't much really precise, descriptions of these subtle differences... when I look at the list you sent, I've seen this kind of description before.... It doesn't help me much. It doesn't shed much light when I look at the various depicitons in terms of the nakshatras in my chart... And I know my chart pretty well! hehehe So, there's an important need to refine the descriptions for Nakshatras, like how we've flushed out the various differences in the 12 signs! Thanks for sending this to me, however.... Sincerely, Mark See below: " Hagazussa " <hagazussa Fri, 16 Apr 2004 23:14:20 +0200 Shortlist of the Nakshatras Shortlist of the Nakshatras Position of the sun signs per date Ashwini: male horse; symbol: horse’s head; keyword: clear – 13-27 April, ruler Ketu. This is my Moon nakshatra, and this one has the female tiger, where the Vishaka, for my Ascendent had the male tiger!....are they going to give birth to twins?! pearl and beauty I relate to, but again, I'd love to see a more detailed description of how these nakshatras give more information for all those with Moon in Virgo, for example and especially how the nakshatras might provide more information, than just the normal 'oh you've got the Moon in Virgo'... The main books I've read like " Nakshatra " by K>T. Shubhakaran, is so full of old style, of description like: " If Jupiter is in this Nakshatra the native is blessed with servants, wealth, house and wil be very close to the ruler " .... Vishaka: male tiger; symbol: potter’s wheel; keywords: wisdom and aspiration – 6 –19 November, ruler Jupiter. See below: I have Libra rising, and Vishaka nakshatra there.... and these descriptions are interesting... but.... though I do relate to tiger, potter's wheel, I loved pottery when in college. And wisdom and aspiration... I guess what needs to happen is compare the qualities of my rising sign, 'personality' with the qualites of the other nakshaktra/Libra risings... thanks again.... Guest guest
Hi Mark, I allready thought this list was too short to explain the subleties among the different signs. I believe that reading Komilla Sutton's book can give much more clarity. A list with keywords is really not good enough.
