Guest guest
Dear Friends: I've been watching your discussions re. Sai Baba, and had just a couple of things to add. One of the things I've noticed in studying Jyotish/Astrology, is that the Jupiter or Guru, in our Chart's represents our 'karma' with teachers. So, if you look at your Jupiter you'll see where you started, in this life, in your relationship with mentors, teachers, husbands, (for women's charts) & Gurus. There's also another aspect to Jupiter which I find worthwhile mentioning. Jupiter/Guru also represents God. God is after all, the first Guru, and one can have a relationship with the Guru, Jupiter, of the 'sky', so to speak, which transcends any earthly teachers or Gurus. When I discovered that 'Guru' within, it represents the Guru, of God, and as such is beyond any challenges of individuality, and earthly incarnations. Look to contact that Guru, as well, as having any relationship with teachers, and Gurus, on the Earth! There's a special role of the 'Guru', 'Jupiter' in our lives. Guru, Jupiter, brings, wisdom, darshan, blessings, good luck, and we are in a personal relationship with the 'Guru' quality of the Universe... We're students, learning all about 'life', and life is the Guru,...teaching us all about itself.... Jai Guru! There is/was something strange going on with SB. Because he had (apparently) lots of astral helpers, little miracles would happen in people's lives. And it seemed to be easy to have one's 'intuition' supported in favor of him. I'd expect for many followers, there was some sort of past life connection. A psychic friend called him 'very tenacious.' Come to think of it, I probably wouldn't advise anyone to check out the sites unless you're hoping to convince a devotee to look at the truth. The energy is unpleasant, but it was necessary to get the word out there. There are still two or three active sites with current news from India. I had to quit helping with the Sunrise site and put my mind in a different space. For awhile it was a service I had to do. Therese Post your free ad now! Guest guest
Mark, I have Jupiter unafflicted in 4th, forming gaja kesari yoga with the moon; it's in the last degree or so of Libra, so sandhi, and is my atmakaraka. Is this why I've never been attracted to gurus? Jupiter is my guru. Yay! Guru rocks! Has anyone else been observing Jupiter in the sky at night, so huge and beautiful lately? Flick. Guest guest
Hello Mark, Thanks for explaining this for Jyotish! I see a connection with the western Jupiter. I am happy that the Jyotish is also quite 'positive' about Jupiter. However in Feng Shui Jupiter is seen as malific and you need to study the compass direction he is in every year, so you know how to avoid sitting face to face toward him. This year 2004 he is moving from the SW directuin to the west direction, accordingto them. But I cannot fully agree with them, because the earth is constantly turning around his axis, so that the angle of Jupiter changes constantly from a compass point of view. Guest guest
Hi Flick, My Jupiter is also unafflicted in my western horoscope (23 degrees Libra). I alos did not needed a Guru. I once had a chackra workshop with the Indian numerologist Harish Johari, (he called all the attendants by their numerologic-date number) who told me that I had too many ones in my date (11-11-1969, which makes 47/11) and that I did not need a teacher. So I left the group, I was indeed very bored with his workshop.....
