Guest guest
Hi Bettina, > What I would like to see is how these nakshatras apply to people's > real > lives, not just the symbols for them. Anne, does KS go into that > a lot in > the book? Komilla takes a great effort in describing the nakshatras, she describes the symbol of the nakshatras, the related gods, the dharma, karma and artha, the vedas, the guna threesome, the character-traits, the connection with the western zodiac sign, the spiritual lifepath, relationships, sexuality and relations with other nakshatras. There is an extra chapter about relationships and the explanation how to use an personal Tara Bala table, to understand how other nakshatras support you in what way. There are all kinds of tables of different areas of compatibility, like a table for sexual compatibility, spiritual compatibility, tables of vedas related to nakshatras etc. I think it is quite much information. Moreover this book is beautifully illustrated. I recommend this book, but I don't know whether it is suited for people who are advanced in Jyotish. I have bought this Dutch version by chance for a very low price in a cheap book store who sold older versions from books, this version was allready from 2001 and I bought it this year. But it is also available on Komilla Sutton's website: www.komilla.com You can also try to look it up at amazon.com. Because there you are able to look inside the book for a few pages.
