My spirit seems to want only to use the more intuitive side of my brain the last few days...no computer!!..), I copied a couple of articles from discussion lists to my site: One on the current solar ingress chart (when the Sun entered Aries) and one of the Mesopotamian Zodiac boundaries. This was in response to a post on another site. These are both short more or less technical articles that were already written. Many thanks to the very generous people on the web who allowed me to copy free animated gifs and little pics to put on the sign pages on my site. (This was before the headaches and dizziness started...) I too was introduced to Sai Baba teachings by a friend who was very much involved with him; going to his ashram, etc. She came back to Canada very disillusioned with him after years of being a committed devotee. In the meantime before I discovered that he was a predator, I used to try meditating with his picture of the Christ and after using the picture had to get rid of it because the image shifted and changed colours, alarmingly, just in meditation, and I must admit scared me. What I learned was never to listen to anyone who makes such far-fetched claims about themselves. The sad part, as Therese says, is not trusting one's own judgment afterwards. He is powerful and charismatic and has genuine siddhis, but that doesn't make him holy. Quite the reverse in this case. His "teachings", which are hardly original, are "good", but as the saying goes, "the devil can quote scriptures". .... I had the bad feeling in my gut, but considered my friend to be so enlightened that I must be off track! His books made me very uncomfortable and I did not believe him about being the Christ, nor God, although I give credibility to everyone as God, since I feel we each are God in our own right; however this is not a discussion about theology! Bettina, I guess we and the others had to learn those hard lessons. I did have Uranus/Neptune transiting my Mercury and squaring alot of my Libra planets, so that was the lesson for me I guess. I gave up New Age mostly too then, first I think, along with practically everything I had studied regarding spirituality. I see this in retrospect as I write. I went back to the beginning of my belief system, which was just my own simple feelings about spirituality. Amazing now when I realize it all! Was it you Flick who said it is all a process of stepping stones along the way and it is; also you said that astrology has been the one focus you always come back to and for me too it is the same! I also began studying it when I was 22 after meeting an astrologer and becoming fascinated. A fascination that continues moreso now that I am 54! Well now I am awake! I had a job for a while cleaning her house and she had his picture in her bedroom. To be honest it made me uneasy...I didn't trust him. I think the moral here for many people is to learn to trust yourself first and foremost. Don't give your power away to someone else, no matter how advanced and aware they seem - only you know what's really right for you.
