Are you still doing the course, or did you either drop it or finish it? I'm

doing the Dirah course too, am now on the second part, the advanced course,

and it seems that one of the aims will be to look into links between the two

systems, including use of the outer planets, though one initially is

expected to interpret only via Vedic astrology. My tutor is very flexible

with interpreting dire and doomful Vedic placements though.

 

I think much good will come out of taking the best from both systems.

Although Vedic astrology appears to destroy the ego, in other ways it's more

materially posited, with charts being done for mundane events, starting a

business for example, or gaining wealth. In some ways western astrology aims

to be very spiritual, urging people to self development and seeing past

material wants. An interesting blend we have forming I think.

 

LOL, I said I wasn't going to have time to respond to messages for a while,

and I've just responded to three, one on Tanvir's group and two here :-))
