Guest guest
Here's an interesting question re. Rahu especially in light of up-coming Eclipses! Mark K. Dear Steve: Both West & East. have a fairly consistent view of the nodes of the Moon... though, in common western ....spiritualism....the eclipses are looked upon as positive things.... though not in the past.... but Jyotish believes they are rather trying and inauspicious times.... for me, Rahu & Ketu,....especially since I've been watching planets collide with them for all these years now... And believe me, collisions are not as happy as when planets collide with Jupiter, for example! So.... Rahu & Ketu, in a nutshell.... represent the out of control, desireous, compulsive, addictive ....side of us.... practically, where people have their Rahu's....they may have patterns of compulsion, or bad habits, or even patterns that are frustrating or irritating... For, me, however, all malefics are not just indicative of some problematic area... but are indicative of where and how we're meant to change, transform and evolve ourselves.... Rahu's particular lesson is in regards to learning how to 'desire', with more silence, balance or centeredness.... When we do this, then our desires do not rule us... but we rule them...and they serve...us.... re the expressions of growth, instead of some out of control....quality... Hope this helps...
