" Hi Mark, I've been enjoying your Star reports for a few months now. I can't tell you how wonderful it's been. Each month, it seems a new layer of something marvelous pops up and illuminates me. My question, today, is about this nasty Moon in Scorpio transit we're in now, and have every month. I notice, even late yesterday, when you said the Moon would begin it's Scorpio transit, feeling 'irritable' and 'rough'. Then, my nite, I spent with the most intense dreams. Now, that I've noticed each month as the Moon goes into Scorpio, I have such bizarre dreams.

My question is once you notice that some area of Jyotish, like this Moon/Scropio transit, is really bugging you, what more can we do? I mean I've tried resisting that irritableness, but it's like my mind has been invaded by some unseen, negative force and I now know where it's coming from, not blaming others...but still it's fairly uncomfortable? "

" Dear Rose: Wow !!!! What a beautiful description of Moon, being invaded by Scorpio. Think of these transits, as having 2 stages. There's the identification of the quality and characteristic of the 'transit', as you've done so well. Then, there's the 'what can I do about it stage?' With benefic transits, identifying them, is the same process, but because they're so 'rosy', no pun intended, hehe, we don't have to 'do' anything about them, we just flow, taking advantage of them.

But, with the malefics, we have to do something different. Espcecially, because there certainly are enough of them, but especially because 'maleficnesses', show us where we need to grow, then this second phase is that much more vital.

I had a similar experience last nite, regarding this month's Moon in Scorpio. I like your expression. I, too, felt like I was being invaded,by something, and I knew it was Scorpio. This morning, when I a woke, having had many caustic, weird, and chasing kinds of dreams I began reflecting again on this Moon/Scorpio, experience.

Then it occured to me, this irritableness, and roughness that I had been experiencing did feel poisoness, like a Scorpian's venom, but in this case, it was invading my feelings, my heart, instead of the body like a normal Scorpian sting!

So, this morning I experimented some more, as to what might I do, to try and alleviate that poisonous, feeling. First thing I did, especially since I knew the poison had invaded the Moon, feeling side of me, ... I went into the mind, and decided to meditate a little longer this morning.

After about 20 minutes which is my normal time, I still felt that 'roughness', though I noticed already it was lessening. So, I persisted, and after about another 20 minutes, I noticed feeling better so I laid down and slept for awhile. After about an hour I oke and noticed that the more normal bliss of my feeling, Moon, nature had returned and that poisonous venom seemed gone.

Then, I thought wow, we can do something to deal with this devilish, Scorpio, something.....

and even being able to disapate that yucky, Scorpio, venom!
