Guest guest
Some nice thoughts for someone who's beginning an Astrology class.... Mark K. Did you get my last email? I'd suggest keeping it simple. Try and explain the Astrological idea that the different planets correspond with different aspects of human nature... ie.. Sun = self-confidence... Moon = emotions, feelings, and intutition... Mercury = intellectual abilities.. Mars = sports... they should like that one... And then, introduce the idea of Signs and Houses... They'll be fascinated by the idea of Signs...which express all our human characteristics and qualities.. and the idea of houses...which represents our 'karmas' or porpensities.. of the different areas of life... I also relate Astrology to genetics... Our Astrology chart, represents what we're brought into this world... People, someday, will be able to see, which illnesses, we're predisposed to... Explain the benefits of Astrology... o to know yourself better... there is that great scene in the Matrix movie where the Oracle tells Neo 'Know Thyself!'.... and Astrology is all about how to know yourself better... o Explain how Astrology can help us understand what we've come to do in this life,... how it can help us ...find our path...more easily.... o And finally, how understanding our charts, can help us understand what our strengths & especially our weaknesses....are... so we can take better advantage of our strengths and eliminate our weakenesses! enjoy and good luck... keep it simple... explain the ideas.... and principles...and I find people especially like the 3 prong approach to Astrology.... we're basically our Sun, Moon & Rising Signs...! Sun = self Moon = emotional nature.. and Rising Sign...= our personality!
