4/5 Question about Rahu - Jupiter Planetary Battle that's been going on!

Here's a really good question about the Jupiter & Rahu....planetary battle that's been and still, going on.

It's especially significant because Aspects are so important in Nature's transits....

Mark, I understand that sun and planets have a battle when they are within 3 degrees of each other, but this is a full sign of difference. It still makes a " battle?

Hi...Sharalyn:

In this case... the battle....is one of 'aspect' instead of close, conjunction...battle...

In other words, Jupiter aspects 1, 5, 7, & 9 houses away from where it is... So, in Leo, it's casting it's 9th house aspect onto Aries....

Which, coincidently, is where Rahu has been....also at 17 degrees, though in Aries...

but, Rahu also is purported to aspect 1, 5, 7, & 9 houses away.... so from it's position in Aries, it's casting it's 5th house aspect into Leo...

where Jupiter has been.

Experience shows, even these mutual or aspects in general have very powerful effects, like same/house, conjunctions...

Rahu & Jupiter....Alert....

Jupiter & Rahu....Planetary ....'battle'..still going on today!....

For Sunday, 4/3.......

Jupiter will be Running 16:23 degrees....Leo, today... &

Rahu will be Running... 17:27 degrees...in Aries....

It¹s like they¹re still locked in this strange, Œstuck¹, dance....

Rahu & Jupiter are still awfully close due to their mutual aspecting....

Rahu & Jupiter, seem to be moving, almost at the same pace...

so don¹t be surprised if things remain kind of sluggish.

Jupiter will continue being Retrograde, and therefore more weak and inward till,....

May 5, 2004

But watch after that!....things will really shift!

Then, Jupiter begins it's Direct motion and over the next couple of months will finally move away from Rahu's direct 'locking' grip and this will represent the real beginning of the next good Jupiter cycle!

Welcome to the 24 Hours before the next Full Moon!

Moon¹s moved into Virgo, today, and by tomorrow am at 4:45 am, CST, will be completely full.

The Full Moon day and time, therefore, is a great time to reflect on the accomplishments of the last 2 weeks of the previous Waxing Cycle.

Also, this Month, as the Sun¹s passing through Pisces, this is a great time to reflect upon the entire year!

Pisces represents the end of the Astrological year, and it¹s dreamy, romantic, head in the clouds, kind of reality, is perfect for reflecting on the entire year!

In the next 2 week¹s by the way, as the Moon moves into and through the next Waxing Moon cycle, notice, that these next 2 week¹s are perfect....to reflect on this entire last Year!

After that, on April 13th, the Sun moves into the lst degree of Aries, which in a very real way represents the true beginning of another Astrological Year!

We might even celebrate that day as the true New Year!

Therefore during these next 2 weeks, notice, how the mind and sentiments naturally are falling upon the reflections of this entire last year.

o Venus - Now, 7 degrees of Taurus, today.

So, look for good qualities associated with the Heart! this entire Month!

(Venus, remains in this very good Sign....from 3/29 - May 5th)....!

This is good news for anything related to Venus because Taurus is one of the Signs that is Venus¹ 'Own Sign'...and everything connected with relationships, interactions and affections, will be positively surcharged during the whole 3 weeks of Venus' Transits... Look for the #2, or Taurus in your chart to see where the primary benefit of this transit will be. Venus is now, at 7 degrees, so look for an even stronger and stronger Venus...to pop up over the next few weeks, till.....

May 6th!.....

o Mercury is in Aries, now....7 degrees, today...

Where it should be functioning more clearly now that it¹s left Pisces. Intellect, then, will be more crisp, with better decision makings..during this period...

Mercury is now however, beginning to get close to Rahu. Right now the 2 are only 9 degrees apart, so this next week, would not be good time, to allow any Rahuish, Œout of control¹, or impulsive.... degrees dominate!

o Rahu & Jupiter are still locked in their mutually

aspecting...Planetary War........Today, Rahu's at 17:27 degrees

of Aries, while Jupiter's at 16:23 degrees of Leo....

So, this generally, all-important, 'benefic' Jupiter, is as if locked into a kind of slow-down due to Rahu's aspecting, influence....

Many things will continue being sluggish, like the economy and personal progress and prosperity.... till Jupiter starts going direct, and moves farther away from Rahu's simultaneous, influence....

Main point here, though, is to not strain, and especially bring more patience and Silence...to the Rahu, desire nature, which is clamoring to fulfill any

desires, really!

o Mars is in Taurus, Today, 4/4...... Now, at 15 degrees!

See, if you notice a kind of 'passionate' quality, related to your concerns for 'relations' and a kind of 'passionate' intensity, 'convictions', etc...especially, for 'romantic relations...the closer and closer Mars & Venus...get...

Though Venus won't be directly, 'conflicting' with Mars,....for a long time, 'months'...because Mars moves very fast too!

Expect a kind of nice 'passionate' quality, now and for especially the time that Venus is in Taurus!

" Hi Mark, Very interesting these days. I¹m really experiencing that Rahu pull, you¹ve been talking about. I think I¹m experiencing both the negative and positive aspects to it, however. For example, Rahu¹s transit through Aries, is transiting my 6th House, and although my head is definitely at war about not getting the progress on some rewriting/ writing projects I felt I really needed to complete; still, I¹m seeing the completions are really about reopening and integrating and letting myself desire, the wisdom of what I have accumulated up to now.

I¹m also experiencing Venus as it¹s going through Taurus. I have Taurus in the 7th House so I¹m noticing spontaneously feeling more positive about about possibilities!

I¹m also finding myself reflecting upon my goals and seeing how the transits directly effect my accomplishments of the past and into the future. Warm Regards.²

³Dear Mary: Well said. What you¹ve said, here shows a great appreciation of how the Transits are running through your personal chart, and life, and that¹s a great insight into especially these Transits.

You¹re also correct regarding Rahu. This present time, especially Rahu directly influencing Jupiter, means that our desires, compulsions and addictions, including those patterns which are kind of wild, and have a life of their own, tend to dominate right now.

However, Jupiter¹s also fully aspecting Rahu right back, so this is also, a perfect time to gain insight into Rahu.

That¹s happened to me, more deeply, recently.

Rahu is about desires that have gotten out of control and rule us, instead of the other way around.

However, Rahu is there to show us this Œill of our ways¹, and then, we realize we need something else!

Just pursuing our desires, isn¹t fulfillment.

Rahu desires, are meant to lead us to the accomplishment stage of life, and the accomplishment stage is meant to lead us to the fulfillment stage....

And interestingly enough, that stage is a state of fullness, of Silence...and arriving...

Unfortunately, desires have a way, especially in today¹s extremely Rahu environment, where they just lead to more desires.

This moment, too, is to show us how desires alone, without enough Silence, will only lead to more chaos, ie....compulsions, addictions.

But, if desires, can be wedded to more Silence, then their purpose is truely fulfilled!
