Guest guest
Dear Anne: Mustn't, 'boil over'...ehehee... But, bliss...and kundalini....excitment...boiling up....is good! hehehe see below: " Hagazussa " <hagazussa Sat, 3 Apr 2004 11:48:11 +0200 re.... Thanks for theinvitation & how to blend West & East...? Hi Mark, Thank you for your interesting answer also! You make my brains boil, but in a positive way. The thing is: I am also interested in a lot of esoteric issues related to psychological issues, so you really inspire me. I love cross connections and overlap theories, which shows that e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g is interconnected. I am also an owner of a discussionlist about esoteric topics (INFJINFP/) I'll check your group out too! in general related to Jungian personality types. Jung has been one of those people who's excited me, tremendously...to see into Psychological Astrology... I'ts one of the great things I've experienced...and when I do Jyotish/ Psychology... it's just amazing... So, few Eastern enthuiasts, realize what a gold mind that they have related to using Jyotish to see the Psychology of people... but maybe that's one of the Natural perspectives of Western ....emphasis... is to help the Easterners see in this way.... There are a lot of interesting people around who make cross connections between Jungian psychology, astrology, tarot, and recently also about I-ching. Iam trying to find the treshold between them and also discovered that astrology is quite related to the Jungian psychology and I am discovering more and more. My background has included a deep study of meditation, for years, too....been meditating since 1970.... I see Consciounsess....as that...which connects everything... It's the ground...from which the Univers,...including the Stars...come... Today, I see Jyotish as giving expression to the 'flavors of Consciousness'...which are those Piscian or Virgo or Libran...qualities.... These Astrological qualities...are really flavors of Consciousness..... >You wrote: >And literally, Nature blew me away. I had no idea you could discover Astrology,....literally in the sky! Yes being more aware of these transits makes people more aware of astrologic influences. I haven't been studying the transits very thoroughly but more the personal horoscopes from people and I must say that it is getting more intuitive about people's zodiacal signs. I think, these 'transits'...which really represent...Nature...out there.... is a great meeting point...for discussions... It's what Modern Science...represents... 300 years ago it was a radical idea to look to 'nature'....to verify and validate...one's theories, views...and even belief... but Nature is the ground...consistent, reliable...always...the same... so when we study....'life'...through 'nature'...then we can really progress in our Wisdom... of the Truths...of Nature.... now, comes along Astrology which has a long history, of ideas and beliefs... and though it too comes from the nature of the sky.... still, we could benefit,...from the methodologies...of modern science... to help us....weed out any slightly inaccurate ideas...from the one's that are more on target... I think the more we make Astrology scientific!...the more we'll help ...usher in a new Age...of Astrology.... I almost always see somebody's sunsign without them telling me. In a circle of people where people are talking it is even easier for me to see who's sun is in pisces and virgo. I think Pisces shows the easiest to me: I can almost smell them from a distance. However it is harder for me to recognise someone's moon or other planets in converstation. And I am eager to learn more about psychology, astrology and other esoteric arts. It sharpens psychological insight and intuition. I know what you mean.... I myself, drive my friends nuts...cuz...for 16 years all I've enjoyed talking about is Astrology...and especially jyotish.... They, fortunately....let me learn through them...and all the wonderful insights and truths I've learned I have them to thank me for... because when you study real people...like the sky.... Astrology comes alive.... I'm writing a book right now called: 'The Stars Within' and the first half premise is that there is this miraculous, literal, '1 to 1 Correspondence'....between each and every aspect of our lives, personality, mind sets, emotional nature, physical nature, relationships, etc...everything... and each and every aspect of our Jyotish chart.... I think most people who are pretty experienced in Astrology, know this... but this point...came to me...as being extremely important... and in fact the central idea, which will help us understand how and why Jyotish could be a true and even modern Science... I can see, taking really any Jyotish idea, like for example...Jyotish believes that the Moon at the time of one's birth, represents one's beginning, emotional maturity. Think how easy it would be to do a study....take 1,000 people who don't even know they're being studies...and find out there date of birth info... and we should be able to find an incredible correlation between .... the size, strength and quality of the Moon in their charts.... and their literal, emotional stability, maturity... and even such things as sensitivity, receptivity...and intuition! >But, then, I noticed, that I could really 'feel' that Moon & Saturn 'conjunction'. I couldn't help noticing the >Saturine influece upon the emotions, the mind, the heart. I felt that heavy, sad, intense kind of experience, >which is a definite Saturn signification.Though it didn't seem quite as intense as when they were literally; >Moon & Saturn, on top of each other...but...you could really feel it! Did you also noticed someting special between your father and mother these days? I find the quality of the Sun and Moon....in my and other's charts...very indicative...of one's relationship with Mother and Father... I especialy...love the feeling that comes...as the Sun...moves closer and closer to Aries, now.. By...the 13th when the Sun moves into 1st degree of Aries... I have my best month of the year, as the Sun transits exalted Aries...in my 7th house...of partnerships... >Find 1,000 people, don't even tell them you're studying Astrology, and give them an established battery >of questions regarding emotional stability. I would be interested to post such a survey on my forum without saying it is about astrology. I could forward it and send you the results: anonymously ofcourse. That's a great idea.... We'll have to do that.... that could be very cool...and I could include the findings in my new book! great idea... I'll think about it... Will look up your site, right away, too! >This is, in fact, the first theme of a book I'm writing on Astrology called the Stars Within! >That there is this very profound, literal '1 to 1 Correspondence' between all the details of our Astrology, >and our real lives.... Sounds interesting. I would be interested in reading it after you have finished it. Greetings, Anne take care, very nice talking with you...! Mark... Guest guest
Hi Mark, You wrote this important quote: >I can see, taking really any Jyotish idea, like for >example...Jyotish believes that the Moon at the time of one's >birth, represents one's beginning, emotional maturity. >Think how easy it would be to do a study....take 1,000 people who >don't even know they're being studies...and find out there date of >birth info... >and we should be able to find an incredible correlation >between .... the size, strength and quality of the Moon in their >charts.... and their literal, emotional stability, maturity... and >even such things as sensitivity, receptivity...and intuition! That is indeed very interesting and important. The same period I started to read a bit about Jyotish I met someone on the internet, who turned out to have a moon conjunction with mine: I allready figured it out in Jyotish: we have Jyestha moons (I have 13 degrees sagittarius in western astrology) and we are both struggeling with our emotions at the moment, so you see the subleties of astrology and real life. This extremely private person thought that he did not have any emotions and was very quiet, to me this person is a waterfall of words sharing all kinds of ideas, philosophies and understanding, like it is an old friend of mine. Ofcourse a sign to me to do more about the moon-emotions- the soul connection. I have only read the description of Jyestha from Komilla Sutton, but I have learned that this is basically about sunsigns. I should read a book about moonsigns. Can you recommend any?
