Dear Friends:

Here are some more interesting thoughts related to what constitutes a good,

benefic or bad, malefic one!

Dear Ruchi:

I'm not saying anything, about any specific chart. Twins, for example are

an interesting exception in Jyotish.

On the surface twins are born at such a similarly same time, and yet, they

sometimes, can have very different 'interiors', and only sub divisional

charts seem to be able to explain those differences....

My main point from below was just that ...I believe we should consider all

Planets are potentially good, being that they represent the Lord, Himself...

but, at any time, Planets can act malefically. This means, sometimes,

certain planets will be acting malefically because they rule either the 6th,

8th or 12 houses, or they're in terrible signs or they're in difficult

houses.

There's also a good formula for discovering if one's Planets are acting

malefically. And that is...are they causing or related to unhappy,

frustrating, negative or malefic occurances...

Lack of Self-confidence....would be a Sign of a malefically acting Sun

Emotional immaturity, emotional problems, shyness, etc. are symbolic of Moon

being malefic or weak.

Lack of clarity of mind, or difficulties with thinking are related to

Mercury and Mercury could be Pisces, or with Saturn...on and on...etc.

Lack of Lovingness....is a Sign of a weak or malefically acting Venus...

Lack of faith....or spirituality...is a sign of malefic Jupiter...

Delays, disappointments, losses, ill-health...all these are signs of

maleifically acting Saturn...

Compulsions, addictions, uncontrolable desires, are the signs of malefic

Rahu....

Accidents, fights, arguements, etc. are Mars' malefic signs...

Jyotish has certain rules which help us understand why a Planet may be found

acting malefically....

And the symptoms, particular flavors or our challenges, problems and griefs,

show us which Planet is acting Malefically....

In truth, the Planets represent our Wisdoms associated with these different

aspects of Life...

Sun represents Self-confidence and Independence.

Moon represents emotional happiness, intuition and sensitivity, receptivity

Mercury represents clarity of mind, and good communications...

Jupiter represents Spirituality, and good teachering impulses and talents

Venus represents one's loving and expressive, affectionate nature...

Mars represents one' physical strength, power of action, and dynamism.

Saturn represents one's balance, Wisdom, maturity and inner strength, and

Silence...

Rahu & Ketu....represent where enough silence is lived by someone such, that

their desires, don't rule them, but they're centered, and still, and

desires...are a natural, uncomplicated aspect of their inner

integration!

I do understand what you're saying, and in fact, agree that the challenges

and problems, unhappinesses, in our lives...are due to our Malefic Planets,

but they're malefic only because we've set them up that way.

Take the example of people who have very good Mars' or Saturn's and they

don't have the typically, malefic consequences, but in fact, excel and the

same areas of those Planets....

The key, then, is to take notice of what the Planets are trying to say about

ourselves, take those warnings.... and learn to do something...so we can

learn to change these malefic predictions....into more happy results!

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid
