Here's an interesting discussion regarding Rahu and Ketu and their controversial....effects, or aspects...

Dear All:

 

One of the best ways to verify the aspects, is to watch the daily transitings...of the Planets...

 

You can literally experience those aspects. I remember the very first time I experienced Sani.

 

Moon was with Saturn a number of years ago and I noticed how I felt; rough, sad, worried and even a bit depressive... Then 2 days later when the Moon slipped back into the next Sign, those Saturnian qualities went away....though nothing else had changed... Then, I watched how I felt over the next few days which were a nice change. Then, the Moon went into the next Sign, which was according to Jyotish, 3 houses away from Saturn...and immediately those same or at least the same malefic Saturnian effects came back.... 'Wow,' ....I thought, you can experience the planets transits...

 

Over the next few years as each month went by I learned to experience the Transits...

 

At some point I watched Rahu/ & Ketu too. And I now know why 'they' say Rahu acts like Sani and Ketu like Mars. When you watch the Moon's transits especially as it transits Rahu you can experience those experienences that arae unique to Rahu. Rahu does feel a lot like Saturn but it has a kind of bizarre, really out of control quality that Sani doesn't have... And the aspects I've experienced, with Rahu are 1, 5, 7 & 9 houses away....

 

Like presently, Rahu's locked in this planetary war with Jupiter. Has been going on for a few months now, as Rahu's in Aries, and fully aspecting Guru and Leo, which is 5 Houses away from Aries...

But Pankaj, I have read that Rahu and Ketu have not aspects.

Let us note the aspects of planets:

 

Planet Aspect Max. no. of houses influenced

 

Jup 1,7,5,9 4

 

Sat 1,7,3,10 4

 

Mar 1,7,4,8 4

 

Rest 1,7 2

 

Rah-Ketu axis 1,7,5,9,3,11,4,10 8

 

 

 

Out of 12 houses Rahu-Ketu (if they are to be considered as one) influences 8 houses. Thus 67% of the ones life is influenced by Rahu-Ketu!

 

Is this logical? Members please do comment.....
