Guest guest
Dear Friends here's a fascintating discussion regarding the values and purposes of looking at children's charts... Mark K. Dear Sanjay: I understand what you mean. But, I think it is one of Jyotish's greatest applications to look at the chart of any young person. Jyotish has this great ability to help us see what our lives are about. Though I think I understand what you mean about appreciating children as divine beings. But, the same reasoning can be applied to any person, as a divine being. The warning I feel, is not to use Jyotish to diminish or pidgeon hole someone into being less then they are. And this is good advise for any, whether you're looking at a child or adult's chart. I believe, Jyotish can have an amazingly positive role in helping parents and educators as well as young people, students, to understand themselves better. The goal can be to help us better understand our goals, mission in this life, and especially how to utilize our strengths and even more importantly, negate or neutralize and therefore transform our malefics into strengths. I remember when I did a large number of young people's charts who were just graduating from high school. They had their whole lives ahead of them and they were very curious about their charts, therefore. When I finished telling them about all the good qualities in their charts, they were very inspired but then practically said: " this is great, but can you also tell me about my challenges, what will be my biggest problems that I will face, too? " This impressed me very much because they were facing their whole future life, and I felt that they were in this strategically placed to learn some thing that could dramatically save them much grief and misery if I could help them see and understand any of their malefics better. For children, parents are already the first line of defense, parents are already being Jyotishees, to their children. They're the first adults who look at these young souls and feel inside, 'what can I do to help my baby become the best that he/or she can be? What can I do to help them become strong and find their place in this world? " These are the natural impulses of a great parent, and the same one's of a good or great Jyotishee. I had a wonderful experience this last year, as I watched Guru, himself, sliding through his natural Sign of Exaltation in Cancer. I was lucky, too, because having Cancer in my 10th House, I was very aware of those wonderful great, Juptier Exalted impulses. It occured to me during this time, that Guru was exalted...in what?.... in the Mother's Cancer energy. Therefore Motherhood, and perhaps, parenting from both parents, is deep in the nature of the role and purpose of the Guru as well. Therefore, let's aspire to help children of all ages, to undertsand their Jyotish, and master their Benefic strengths, and especially come to understand and transform their malefics so we can help all, avoid the dangers on the horizon. Jai Guru! PLease Raman, let us not look at a horoscope of a young child. We should consider children as divine beings and transmit good vibrations to them. Why look at the horoscope of divine beings? I hope you understand.
