Guest guest
Dear Friends: Here is a fascinating discussion regarding the truely more benefic aspects of Saturn! enjoy Mark K. Dear Darshan: I'd like to share one point here in your Saturn experiences. And that is that Saturn has two primary functions in life. #1, Saturn is there as the lesson giver, so all kinds and manners of lessons, griefs, karmas, disappointments and frustrations are looked at through the eyes of Sani! However, there's another aspect of Sani, which is even more important. Sani teaches us about imbalance...but Sani's also trying to teach us about balance! We get Sani placed in our charts, generally and when Sani's acting malefically, to show us where and how we've been out of balance from the past... But, Sani's also about learning to bring more 'Shiva' balance...into our lives.... One Vedic scholar recently said: " Let's stop calling Sani the Planet of grief....let's now call Sani the planet of rest! " Because once you figure out this Jyotish insight, and start applying the benefic, transformative and remedial measures and prescriptions of Saturn...to your life...then you can turn any Sani moment...around... Life only is trying to help us...to guide us... But, we live in Kali yuga. Education is poor and especially Vedic wisdom is in short supply! However, each one of us can verify the truths of this healing, postive, and transformative aspects to Jyotish by doing one simple thing... Notice how you're feeling right now. Write down how well rested you are .... ARe you going to bed early, late, etc... Now, add one thing, rest more... For a few days....make a special effort to not strain, to take it more easy, to get more rest, more meditative experience if you know how.... etc.... And see if immediately, whatever Sani repercussions are goings on.... see, if they immediately start to settle down...and you!....immediately start to feel better! We stay up for a few days in a row, maybe we've got a test coming up or a deadline at work. Whatever the reason, but we notice that we're feeling a bit weird,...upset, tired, strange,...etc. Then, it occurs to us, 'well, maybe I need more rest!'.... So, we take it easy. We unwind, we go to bed earlier, we bow out of that appointment or even party we were supposed to go to....and we just act like a slug! What happens? We immediately start to feel bettter! Why? Because the nature of Saturn is to teach us the Wisdom...of the Rest phase of life. As such Sani is also about healing, rejuvenation, recuperation, and preparing ourselves for the next activity phases.... Rest and Activity both go together... Funnily enough Saturn and Jupiter represent these two very important aspects of life! Unfortunately, our World, and all the people in it, don't value this all-important, rest stage... As it turns out, 'rest is the basis of activity'.... What we do the night before has everything to do with how successful we are the next day! But, who teaches us about this....? No one.... So, we stumble along, from one crisis to another, Saturn, is beating us up....and therefore gains it's uncomfortable, unhappy, malefic reputation... But, Saturn is Shiva! Saturn is the Wisdom of Silence.... and together....with activity... represent Enlightenment! Rest & Activity.....both together....is a great sign of more enlightened...functioning... Hope this helps... Sincerely, Mark Kincaid ps.... Look at all Sani, Astrological moments...as times, when we're meant to relax and develop this inner side of life... So, Sani in the first,...represents this in your life! Saturn dasa periods represent that 'right now' is the time to work on this.... And even Sani....sade sat...periods represent the time, when we're meant to improve this aspect of our lives, especially in terms of the Moon, or emotions.... which need more inner depth....and stillness.... Let's all resolve to desire more Wisdom of Saturn.... and see if Saturn doesn't immediately... respond...with it's many Benefic...gifts! Jai Sani! Mark PS....I don't know if you've heard, but I also write a Jyotish newsletter. It includes a daily, Transits newsletter as well as other aspects of Jyotish as well. Saturn's first sadesati was during my childhood, when my mom used to tell me that i was so sick that doctors used to tell my mom that only god can save this child. Jupiter has direct aspect on saturn from 9th house in pisces and thats what i think is god's grace. Doctors gave me strong antibiotics during that time which affected my teeth and my teeth r yellow now. I also had many teeth problems which i think r one of the indicators of malefic saturn. I constantly have problems related to my education and career. But, somehow things worked, and today i graduated 2 days ago. I finished my masters in Food Science. The most special thing about this planet is that it is in the lagna in each and every division of my horsocope. In navamsha, dashamsha, etc. and etc. WOW, that means i need to learn a lot in this life time. Thanks Darshan jyotish_tat_sat , Flick <rubysun@n...> wrote: > I enjoyed it too.
