The Moon has moved to 16 degrees Libra, today,

as of 9:00am, Thursday, February 12th....2004.....

CST....

USA...

 

Please adjust the time as to your different Time Zones...

For those of you in Europe & Asia, especially.... the

information below, will be starting in your afternoons or evenings....

 

Remember, even if you're in the Eastern Hemishphere... though you may

be receiving these transits...in 'your' pm, they're still good for

your next 24 hours, as well!

Dear Friends:

 

Moon moves to middle of Libra today. Though this is normally a very positive, transition, because Moon & Libra are great friends.

 

Last nite and today, you may notice some grief and upsetnesses, via the Moon!

Moon is at 16 degrees, right now, and Mars is at 12 degrees. So, there's some good chance of that intense Mars influence. This is a good test of the fact that Planets influence other Planets in opposite Houses, or 7 Houses away.

Good day....to put attention on balance...and nuturing...and paying attention

to what the Moon or inner feelings want and need...

 

Don't ignore your feelings today....

Instructions for Counting

7 Houses Away....

 

Counting the House that the Planet is in ...as 1, then go 2,3,4...7!

 

So, Mars & Rahu are both in Aries... which is supposed to be that 7 Houses away...to Libra!

 

Aries, is #1, so count it as 1, Taurus is #2, so count that as 2, then 3,4,5,6 and 7 is #7, Libra.... You can do it the other way too.... Moon's in #7 Libra, so counting #7, as 1 means #8, Scorpio is 2, Sag,3, Cap,4, Aquar, 5 Pisces is 6 and Aries, again is 7 houses away from the Moon.... vice versa...

 

I'm going into some detail...because you want to get good enough that you can just see the 7th House aspect away...

 

Next to conjunctions, this is the 2nd strongest Transiting influence....

 

Next 8 hours maybe fairly intense, because Moon is moving from 16 degrees to 20 degrees of Libra....

but Rahu, at 20 degrees of Aries...will have an increasingly strong influence till then.

 

But, quickly after the next 8 hours...Moon will go past both Mars & Rahu's influence and feel better!

 

 

 

Other Tranists....Today:

 

 

o Mars is now at 12 degrees... in Aries..today and....in Aries....till March

12th...

 

Still Great time to do, to act, to accomplish.

 

I watched last year as Mars moved into Scorpio and then... into Capricorn, and certain individuals who will remain un-named, hehe, rushed our country into War because of their convictions.

 

I remember thinking at the time, 'wow, they're really misrepresenting that Marish impulse.

 

Mars is however, a great energy to move, to act, to do.

 

But, like all Astrological influences, it does best when combined with good other energies like Venus.

 

And that leads me to Venus!

 

o Venus is now at 11 degrees, Pisces - It's Sign of Exaltation... till March lst....

 

Exalted Venus, is a nice complement to that strong Mars energy going on

right now. So, it's...a

 

Great time, to do most anything with personal relations... and people,

friends and of course, Romantic partners!

 

Find where the #12, Pisces House is in your chart, to determine the

primary beneficiary of this Sweetness.

 

o Jupiter's still running in Leo, today...at 22:49 degrees. And still Retrograde.

 

o And theres' still this interesting tension, between Jupiter & Rahu & Sani.

 

o Rahu's also in Aries, now at 21 degrees, so Rahu's influencing Jupiter

directly. And is responsible for a kind of sluggishness from Jupiter.

 

Rahu's also casting it's 7th House aspect into Libra from it's year long transit through Aries. So, the Moon will be affected by Rahu's nature as well.

 

The maleficness to watch in this regard is that you don't let desires, push you

to do things without enough inner silence.

 

This is the nature and significance of Rahu, is learning to live, to desire, but not let our desires rule us!

 

 

 

o Guru's also influenicng Aries, from it's position in Leo, so Jupiter gives

back as well as it receives from Rahu.

 

o Winter:

 

Remember Winter's still on, and Saturn's always one of the most import-

ant Astrological Symbolisms...to pay attention to.

 

o Saturn is in Gemini, still but from it's 3rd House aspect, will be found

influencing Leo as well. Though because Sani's at 13 degrees, the influence

won't be as strong as Guru's influence, upon the Moon!

 

o This is a great time to do two things, being echoed in these Transits...

 

Be....active and dynamic...like Mars in Aries...

And at the very same time, be still and quiet.... which is very Wintersque.

 

Quiet and Active....both together.... are a great symbolism for

Enlightenment!

 

If you don't experience enough Saturn, stillness,...then Saturn acts

Malefically, and we feel grief and delays, frustrations and we suffer.

 

If we don't feel enough energy and able to move, then dullness and lethargy

wins.

 

So....both together....makes for a very rich, balanced life!

" Hi Mark: I wanted to tell you about my Mars, Rahu Moon experience last nite. (Wed/Thur.am) I had a hard time going to bed, so I'm sure that didn't help, then about 3 or 4 am I awoke with an intense, sad, dream of my Mother passing away. It was full of weeping and my deceased Father was there, though he wanted to go back to work, and pretend she hadn't died. Then, I had to contact the rest of the family. Lots of sadness. Why is this Moon & Rahu transit worse then the last few months? "

 

" Dear Bart: You've touched on an interesting difference. Last few months, only Rahu was in Aries. So, the Moon's transits, through Aries, or in Cancer or like now, in Libra, had only one influence.....to deal with. But, this last month, Mars went into Aries where it's now at 12 degrees of Aries.

 

So, this 2nd malefic influence, is enough to cause this greater grief.

" Mark, I had an absolutely horrible nite last night. I couldn't sleep. Have this health problem, mild respiratory problem and that was 10 times worse last nite. I couldn't fall asleep, and spent the whole time worrying. I worried about my job, I felt like I didn't have any friends, and wasn't talented like I normally know I am! Was this all due to Moon's aspect as you mentioned? "

 

" Dear Carol: Yes, you're correct. Though, technically it was due to Mars & Rahu's simultaneous influence upon the Moon which is moving through Libra.

Normally, the Moon is very happy in Libra....

But, this year, this month, both Mars & Rahu are casting their 7th House aspect upon the Moon!

 

Since, 8/23/03...Rahu first moved into Aries, where it would begin it's approx. 1 year transit of Aries.

 

But, then on 1/25/04...Mars also joined Rahu and moved into Aries, as well.

 

And though, normally, Mars in Aries, is thought of as being fairly good, balanced and naturally strong as it's in it's Own Sign,....

 

still the Jyotish prediction is, you put 2 Natural Malefics together...and their combined...energies.... will be very disruptive...

 

Last day and 1/2 are very symbolic of their combined influence!

 

Thank goodness it will only last a few more hours... and as the Moon slips into the next sign, see if you don't feel a little better!

" Dear Carol: This is a great question and speaks to the very nature of transits and their role and relevance in our lives!

 

#1 ... Having watched these transits every day for over 16 years, I've had some wonderful experiences.

 

So, #1, I'd say, treat these transitory 'glitches', like momentary storms in a beautiful, normally, wonderfull weekend.

 

The transits, and here I'm referring to the less enjoyable, malefic ones; are literally, like storm clouds crossing our path.

 

They were predictable. We were told when we checked the 'Weather' Report!

hehe, that at such and such a time, a short, hail storm would happen!

 

So, we're not surprised at it coming, and as we watch our feelings we're not surprised that we feel very disappointed, up-set and worried. But,....

 

there's some consolation in the fact that we know how long the storm's supposed to last. In this case, the Moon, Mars, Rahu, ...storm...might last for 8-10 more hours. But, very soon after that, you'll notice a big drop off of your very intense, sorrowful, sad, and anxious feelings.

 

Now, is there any worth in examing these feelings?

 

Yes and No!

 

Not, from a transiting point of view. It's not what we're thinking and feeling about that we're having these feelings!

 

They're coming from these transits, which are not us, are in fact, due to the collective us, of everyone on the Earth, at this time....

and especially since in just a few hours...this intense storm, will too, pass!

 

On the other hand, there is some value in looking at the Moon, Mars & Rahu

in our Charts!....

 

Especially the Moon, since the Moon is feeling so rough and reflecting all these negative Moonish.... feelings, worries, anxieties, etc.

 

And because you have your Moon in the 8th house... and so very small, in relationship to your Moon, yes!

it will be good for you to pay attention to your feelings!

 

But, pay attention to your Moon!

Strengthen your Moon!

Pay attention, more to your feelings!

And more (privately).... as a result...

in Strengthening...your Moon.... the next time, any malefic situation...

passes over it!.... It won't affect you so much!
