Section One: Transits....

 

 

Moon moves to beginning of Pisces, today! (4degrees).....

 

Over the next few days, see if you feel a Piscian quality of finishings, completions...

and ultimate.... contemplations...

 

This 'energy' is especially good for contemplating the success of your projects over the last 28 days....

 

Pisces is the last Sign of the Zodiac and therefore represents the 'end'....

 

Therefore this is a good time to reflect on your own affairs and completions...

 

This is especially nice when we're contemplating the 'end' of this entire year!

 

o Moon is about 1/2 Full, now...so Waxing Moon is good

 

o Ares to Watch:

Moon & Mars will be colliding, and having a mini-Planetary War....

Be careful not to buy into too much fieryness or irritableness.... during these next

2 days!

 

o Moon will also be colliding with Saturn's influence as well....so take it easy...

Dont' strain....and certainly if you're feeling Saturn's delaying.... influence...

Don't push....at this time!

It may feel like you want to do this.... but this would only aggrevate.... Saturn

more....

 

 

Section Two: Experiences of

Previous....Transits....

 

Here's an interesting Question & Experience from Subscriber, Adnan,

in Turkey:

 

" Dear Mark: My first question has to do with Mercury and Retrograde motion.

When a Graha (Planet) shifts directions there is supposed to be a point of stationary

Direct, yet? (I believe this has affected a number of people, as I believe Stationary Direct, position, does not have a very nice effect, yes? "

 

 

" Dear Adnan: I'm sure you're right. I've been watching a lot of people, suffering little

to medium....and I'm sure, some, very frustrating....intellectual.... challenges. "

 

" Another question: in my case, transiting Shani, Retrograde is under the aspect of my

Natal Rahu, this I believe is affecting Shani's Transit for me, and this same Shani under the effect of Rahu is aspecting my natal Venus/Shukra and Mercury's Retrograde Transits, too. Does this make sense? "

 

How about this corrollary and this way of thinking. Do you think like this, or how about this kind of evaluation? "

 

 

" Dear Adnan: Yes, I'm sure you're right. And as we get more and more familiar with our Transits, we'll notice 'them' starting to have an influence upon our Natal chart, as well.

 

You mentioned Saturn's transit in the Sign and the House, where your Rahu's influencing, as well. And yes, you may notice such influences. What you're describing is also similar to the Classic....'sadi sat'...which happens when Saturn is found transiting where our Natal, birth chart, Moon is.

 

I've been noticing a similar experience when Saturn transits where one's Natal Sun is. This quite often produces some negative, malefic Saturn effects. Though there's no name for Saturn's influence upon the Sun!

 

 

So.... very good..... Your thinking is very clear.....and subtle. Well done!

 

Now.... we can begin to think of Jyotish remedial measures....

 

For all malefic Saturn effects....... Sani is showing us where we need more interior silence or quietness.

 

In general this is one of the lessons of Saturn in our charts, but also in Saturn's transits.... Sani is pointing out exactly where we

need more centeredness....and silence.

 

So.... look into your experience....and see if you're experiencing.... any of Saturn's 'malefic' flavors.... and if so....

 

then Eureka!

 

try and adjust differently.....

 

Instead of thinking of Saturn as only where we have to work harder!..... let's start thinking of Saturn's influence where we could

inject, as if....more naturalness, patience....and quietness....

 

When you're feeling to rush, to do, to act....but feeling Saturn's pull, drag or delaying quality.....

 

then let go..... and just be.....

 

and see if being more patient....doesn't help! "

'Other Important Transits,

Going on, Now.......'

 

 

 

 

4 Days.... after Christmas!

 

 

Now's the time to dive into a new week....

 

End of the Year.... Perfect time to Reflect on the End of one year....and the Beginning

of another....

 

o Moon's Waxing....So enjoy the continual.... up-swing of good energy...dynamism!

 

o Moon's moving into Pisces and closer and closer to Mars... which is at 15 degrees

close to that exact 25th degree See if you can feel that Marish quality...going on!

 

o Mercury's still Retrograde.....so take plenty of time to think things through!

The other day, I absentmindedly, through something away in the computer

trash that caused me a couple of hours of wasted time. Now, when I look

back I realize, I was just being a little spacy, not paying enough attention,

and rushing.... All good indications of Mercury's Retrograde....effect....

 

o Moon's also moving toward Saturn's 10th House aspect....at 15 degrees of Gemini,

so see if you feel that Saturnian flavor as well.

 

o Adnan reminds me of Saturn's Retrograde notion....

Which we haven't been talking about...

o Retrograde teaches us about Planets.... pausing, going inwards.... and swinging

in a natural direction around the Sun...but is called Retrograde...because in terms

of the Earth....it appears...the Planet is going backwards....

 

This is only an apparent motion...though the effect can be quite real.

As any Planet goes Retrograde....it moves through less and less degrees of a

previous Sign.

 

This will produce different results....like the overall effects of that Planet will be

less!

 

So....benefics are less powerful....and malefics...are also, less powerful....

 

o So....in the case of Mercury right now, being a benefic, the important Mercury

functions of Intellect, and decision makings, is less brillant right now....

 

However, with Saturn, because Saturn is a natural malefic, for most, it's effects

during Retrograde...may be less 'negative'....which is a good thing!

 

Though there may still be a kind of 'spaced out' quality as to Saturn's 'thinkings!'

 

 

 

 

 

Section Four: Transits for, Especially the Time

Zones of Europe and Asia....

 

 

 

 

 

Many people especially of places like India and Hong Kong, have been asking me how these Transit Newsletters

figure for them.

 

Previously I've said that though two different Time Zones may be receiving the Transits - Star Reports at different times, still the information about the up-coming Transits will be the same!

 

For example, it's 8:30pm here in Midwestern USA, or CST..

where I live...and tonite I mentioned that the Moon will be at 4 degrees of Pisces, tomorrow, 'at an exact moment'....

 

So, even if you're getting the Transits, simultaneously, at 9 or 10 pm in say New Delhi India, 'right now'.... still the message of the Transits will be the same....

 

in other words....appropriate for your next 8 - 24 hours.

 

But, then it occured to me that it might be helpful for me to

explain what the Transits will be doing for you in say.... 12 hours.... after you've gone to bed....and gotten up for your next day!

 

So, here's what's going to be happening after say, 12 hours.

 

This will correspond to your 'next day'....or my evening!,

hehehe..

 

12 Hours later....

 

Moon will have moved...to about 11 degrees of Pisces....

 

so this Planetary War and Conjunction with Mars....will be more like the quality

of your am....because the Moon will have moved 6 more degrees since the beginning

of this Transit.

 

Notice, that the warnings of Mar's and Saturn's effects...will be more pronounced for

you all, in Europe and Eastern Asia.... because of the different Time Zones....
