Guruji should I Cover all these with Lid ?

Esteemed Guruji Charan Sparsh !! There are 3 below mentioned upayas, please suggest should I cover all these with lid or not, if need to cover, may i cover with stainless stell lid. 3 nos. upayas :- 1. To put honey in silver dibbi with immerse square silver piece in it - Should i cover this dibbi with stainless lid. 2. To put water in a earthern pot, and put in west corner of house - should i cover it with earthern lid 3. to put square sliver piece in stainless dibbi - should i cover it with stainless steel lid.
