Guest guest
Dear Chiru, I also use Bhav-spashtha in the Vedic tradition which is equal bhav system, technically known as Porphyry's system. The longitude of the lagna is the bhav madhya for each house. The other system, which I do not use, is unequal house system or Placidus's system. Since your Lagna is at 19Ge30, a planet placed at 4Sc03 will be shown in the 5th house. Deduct 15d from the bhav madhya which is 19d30 = 4d30. That means a planet with a longitude of more than 4d30 alone will be shown in the 6th house. Since the Jupiter is at 4d03 it will be in the 'sandhi'and shown in the 5th. In the Placidus's system it could be different. Guest guest
Pandit Ji, In such cases of Bhav Sandhi, how to guess the effects of such planets? Guest guest
Dear Chiru, There is nothing to guess. Jupiter will give effects of both the 5th and the 6th. If the effects are benefic then they are from Jupiter in the 5th and if malefic, then they are from the 6th. You may have to consult some one who reads a horoscope for predictions. Since I do not do that, I may not be of much help. Sincerely, Priya , " chiru71 " <chiru71 wrote: > > Pandit Ji, > > In such cases of Bhav Sandhi, how to guess the effects of such > planets?
