Please clear some confusion regarding upaays (1) As far as the the upaay (Offering water to Sun) is concerned...As u know that i am from Haridwar and Ganga Ji is flowing here so can i offer the Red flower to Sun God on the bank of the river?? and when i will offer the Flower, It will be flowing into the River....or is it necessary to place of Red flower on the ground in this upaay?? Can i recite Gayatri mantra while pouring the water as i often do it??? (2) While Reciting the Stotra for Sun, can i use Sphatik Mala? and can i recite Jupiter's Stotra along with Stotra of Sun God? (3) In your general memory upaay you suggested to Gift the rice in a small square dibbi of silver to the mother for safe keeping and the mother should keep it in the North East corner of the house. So i want to know...Is it necessary to keep the rice in the Square Shape Dibbi only?....as it is difficult to get in the market....or can we use round dibbi or some other shape of dibbi? Sure you can offer the flower any where you like even at home. Yes you can recite the Gayatri mantra also along with the stotra for the Sun. Reciting the Sun stotra will be a must at the time you offer water to the Sun. [ 2 ] You can use any mala to recite the stotra. Yes you can recite the stotra for Jupiter at the same time too. [ 3 ] try to find square shaped dibbi. In case you can't find one then any shape dibbi will do.
