Serving a Peepal tree Jitendra Hassija

Dear Jitendra,

 

Watering a Peepal tree, lighting a deepak under it, doing a

parikrama of the tree has religious, cultural and astrological

significance. Peepal tree is considred sacred and it is believed

that the Devatas have their abode on it.

 

Religious and cultural significance apart, in astrology Peepal tree

is a karak of Jupiter. Those who need to appease Jupiter should

serve the tree by water it and avoid any sacrilege of the tree. This

is the best upaya to appease one's Jupiter which doesn't cost any

thing.
